Is the Fantasmic Dinner Pakage @ Mama Melrose still part of the 2008 DDP?

What does it include?

Is there still of a choice of appetizzer? Or is it salad? Can you choice what on the menu?

There a entree choice, is it off the menu? Or is there a special menu?

Dessert? Is there a choice?

Also is beverage included? Soda that is. I know alcohol is never included.

What about the tax?
Tip?

Thanks.

It is my understanding that you pay the price for the package. You then get to chose appitizer, entree, dessert, and beverage off of the regular menu. You will not have to pay tax since you paid for the meal with the dining plan. You will have to pay tip though.

Hope that helps!

Just an FYI-we did the Mama Melrose Fantasmic package in Oct 2007 and it was the worst meal I ever had. The kids pastas were dried out, the portions were small and it was not nearly worth what we paid for that package. Just our opinion...

We just did the Mama Melrose Fantasmic Dinner Package last week and it was Great! There were 9 of us including adults and kids. We had a choice of appy, entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. We had bruschetta, tomato & mozzarella for appys, chicken parm and spaghetti fra diavolo for entrees and delicious desserts! The kids had pasta with butter and parm cheese. It was all very fresh and hot. We also had the best service and server that I have ever had at WDW. It was well worth it for us. We had a 4 pm ressie and had a nice, relaxing meal and plenty of time for a few rides and to get to Fantasmic.:goodvibes

Where you on the dining plan?

So do you pay for this Mama Melrose Fantasmic meal out of pocket or does it come off of your DDP table service?

You can do it either way. It is either one Table Service credit per person or you can pay out-of-pocket. You just let them know when you are making your ressies that you want to make an ADR for Mama Melrose for the Fantasmic Dinner Package.

The costs, if paying out-of-pocket, are:

The Fantasmic dinner package choices are:

Hollywood Brown Derby at $36.99 for ages 10 and up, $10.99 for ages 3-9

Mama Melrose at $29.99 for ages 10 and up, $10.99 for ages 3-9

Hollywood & Vine at $23.99 for ages 10 and up, $11.99 for ages 3-9

Hope that helps:goodvibes

LeeAnn, I just noticed that you are from East Meadow. So am I!!!! How funny and it really is a small world:laughing: :rotfl:

We are using the DP for the Fantasmic Dinner package at Mama Melrose's on Easter day. I thought we only get entree, dessert and beverage...but I noticed some people said appetizer too? Is this something special just for this dinner?

Yes, with the Fantasmic Dinner Package, you get an appy:woohoo:

We just did the Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose last Saturday night. It was okay...nothing to write home about. Our bill said it was $32.95 per person - but we used the DDP.

Appetizer
Entree
Dessert
Non-Alcoholic beverage

I wasn't really impressed with the food. But we wanted the Fantasmic Package since we hadn't seen the show yet.

The prices have gone up for the packages. We just booked the Brown Derby package and they said it was $46.99 per adult and $11.99 per child.

If I'm on the Dining Plan and I want to book a Fantasmic Dinner Package at Brown Derby will it cost me 2 credits or 1?

My understanding is that since Brown Derby is a signature restaurant, it will cost you 2 credits if you ate there.

Yup, that is right:thumbsup2 The Brown Derby is 2 Table Service Credits and H&V and Mama Mel's are both 1 Table Service Credit.

We love Mama Melrose and dislike Hollywood & Vine (first, we do enough buffets with the breakfasts that we do, and the food, service and cleanliness of the Hollywood & Vine). You will get differing opinions on both, but it seems a lot of recent visitors to Mama Melrose enjoyed their experience. We've been twice and are anxiously awaiting our upcoming third visit.
