Fantasmic Dinner Package

I know the details are somewhere, but I dont seems to be able to find them.

What is it that you actually get on one of these fantasmic dinner packages? I take it that its something to do with the firework display? Is there only one or two resturants that offer it?

Help would be very much appreciated

Hi,

The Fantasmic Package includes dinner and reserved seating at the Fantasmic show. There are 3 restaurants in MGM that you can pick from -

Hollywood Brown Derby at $36.99 for ages 10 and up, $10.99 for ages 3-9

Mama Melrose at $29.99 for ages 10 and up, $10.99 for ages 3-9

Hollywood & Vine at $23.99 for ages 10 and up, $11.99 for ages 3-9

We did this on our last trip in December and opted for Hollywood Brown Derby as it was one of the restaurants we wanted to try - food was excellent. Then you head round to Fantasmic and the reserved seating area (for those on the package) is on the left to middle side. A different entrance is used - all you need is the voucher from your server at the restaurant.

The waiting time for those not on the package must have been quite some time but that will depend on when you are going - we were there just before Xmas so it was very busy.

I thought it was only Hollywood brown derby and their menu was not to our taste so was disappointed thinking we couldnt do it, and as i couldnt find any details I gave up the idea. I'll be booking that now then as were going on Independence day - 4th July - and i'm guessing EVERYTHING will be very busy

yes it is the restaurants that were listed but I have heard the seating isn't great. I wondered if you are allowed to switch seats once you get inside if there are any available? Anyone know? We are going to do this when we go in October and we will be eating at mama melrose

Yes! This IS on the dining plan! The Brown Derby dinner takes 2 DDP TS credits each but Hollywood & Vine (buffet) and Mama Melrose's (sit down meal) are only 1 TS credit per person. We are doing this and have chosen MM. I hope it's good!

ETA: You just call the Disney Dining # and ask for the Fantasmic package at "X" restaurant. I think I remember them asking for a CC# to reserve the reservation and they require 48 hrs notice of cancellation or your card gets charged.

You're hearing from another Tracie! And I thought I spelled it correctly.

The Fantasmic Dinner prices for the Brown Derby and Mamma Melrose are going up as of April 1. Brown Derby will be $43.99 per adult and Mamma Melrose will be $32.99.

I believe the price does NOT include tax or tip.

I have a 10 year old DD who is a very picky eater. I opted out of the Brown Derby. I couldn't stand the the thought of paying $43.99 for chicken nuggets!

I just made reservations for Fantasmic this morning! Yep, all you need to do is let them know the restaurant and that you'd like to do Fantasmic and they'll ask for your credit card to secure it, and you're done! We're doing the Brown Derby . . . My husband is retiring from the Army in September, so he chose this as the place for his retirement dinner. Actually, when I called to make the ADR's for our trip (since we're finally only 180 days out ), the CM I spoke with is the one who suggested we do the Fantasmic dinner package. The Brown Derby is 2 TS credits, but it would have been that even if we weren't doing the Fantasmic package. I've heard a lot of great things about Fantasmic, so I'm really looking forward to it!
