Who has done the Fantasmic Dinner Package? I know the seats are in the far right side of the stadium. Is it still a good view? What it worth it? My husband won't get in line an hour or 2 ahead of time and I'm thinking this is the best way for us to go.

I appreciate people who have done this sharing their experience.

Thanks:teeth:

We always enjoy using the package so we don't have to wait (and we'd eat at Mama Melrose's anway). Also, I noticed two weekends ago that they had expanded the Fantasmic seating area to three sections, not the two it used to be.

The seats are fine. The show is great! And you have to eat anyway. There is no downside.

While I haven't done this yet (will be doing it in Dec), I have been to see the show many times and have sat in just about every section. Once years ago - before the Dinner package and reserved seating - we sat in the second to last section on the right. I have also sat in the last section on the left and a few times in the middle. I dont' feel that there is any "bad" seat. They way that the theater is set up, you can see everything from all angles.

I know someone who has done this will give you better advise, but if seating the view are the concern, then go for it.

Thanks. I made our reservations this morning and I always get a little worried after I actually finalize plans like that.

Well, technically there are some bad seats there! If you get there too late, you may find yourself standing. There is an area at the back that has tiers for standing room only. We barely missed having to stand last summer. And we got there about 45 minutes beforehand!! Think we may do the dinner package also.

We don't go to the show unless we have the dinner package. After a long day, we don't want to spend all that time waiting in another line for a seat for the show.

We just did the package with dinner at Hollywood & Vine (which was excellent!) and will use the package again. We actually decided to ride RNR before the show, so we entered the theatre from the main entrance by TOT at about 8:15 and had great seats with a very short wait compared to other times.

This was our first time doing this and I was worried after I scheduled it, but now I will do it all the time b/c I really like to limit the time sitting on those benches with no back to them.

I like it and think the seats are fine, we have done both btw. Our favorite restaruant for this is Mama Melrose but if your watching $$ Hollywood and Vine is cheaper and offeres more choices.

If you are traveling at a busy time and don't want to wait 1 1/2 to 2 hours and are going to have at least one big meal anyway this could be the way to go. If we do choose the package its breakfast in the room, light counter serve lunch and a nice dinner.

When we are lucky enough to travel at slower times and don't choose the package we still arrive at least an hour or more ahead of time. During the wait we get counter service either before entering or once inside and or snacks to help with the wait. My girls are old enough now that they don't mind the wait and actually understand what they are waiting for and why. It was more difficult when they were younger.

This is great info. My kids are 11, 8 and 4. I think that much waiting would be too much for the 4 year old(definitely) and probably the 8 year old also.

:jumping1:

I agree with the others - if you are okay to eat a bigger meal that day, and want to see the show, there is not really a downside. We have gone to Hollywood and Vine - nice selection and good service - and never had to stand in a line or rush away from the other attractions. Win-win situation!

We usually go to WDW during slower times of year, (Spring or fall).

We have done the Fantasmic Dinner Package 3 times. On every occasion, we went about 20 minutes before the show started. Instead of sitting in the reserved section, we always moved across to the center section. Better seats. Always available.

The dinner package may be recommended during very busy times. During slower times of year, ya don't need to do it.

IMO - there is no other way to see Fantasmic.

Dinner package = the best Fantasmic experience you can have

I agree with the other posters, the seats are fine ... I had no problems seeing the entire show from the right side. We did the package mostly because we didn't want to stand in line for hours to see the show.

I also enjoy the dinner package - I would eat at Mama Melrose anyway and I don't have any problems with the seats - great view and they save you a lot of waiting time (which is especially good since those metal benches are none too comfortable!)
