Fantasmic Dinner Package needed for second show?

We will be in WDW this July and I am confused about the dinner package for Fantasmic. If we go to the 10:30 show, is the package available? Or are there enough seats at the second show to make it unnecessary? Thank-you!

I have never been to the second showing, but have read here that it's usually not as crowded as the first show.

You read my mind!!! My Disney Family will be going in June and I was wondering the same question. Which of the three dinner options would you recomend ( Veggie people) ? How early should we get there for the second show? Thanks !!!!

From what I remember, you only can book for the first show. They don't offer it for the second show. We booked at Hollywood and Vine and the food was great. We did't go to the second show so I don't know how the crowds are. In the guide books I have read they say the second show has a lot less people. We are going again in July and we booked it again. It was so easy just to walk up 20min before show and have a great seat!

Yes, the package is only available for the first showing of Fantasmic - the later show is supposedly less crowded, but I've never been. We always book the package.

Weve only been to the second show once, and that was last year during Christmas week. If that was any idication of the crowds for the second show, dont worry about it. We walked in about 20 minutes before the show and got 4th row seats. By showtime, the sections on either end were still empty and remained that way for the show.

Thank-you so much for the information! We are looking forward to seeing Fantasmic for the first time this July. Our kids are older, so the 10:30 time is fine with us...I can't imagine young families staying up that late, so it makes sense that the crowds are smaller. Thanks again!
