Fantasmic dinner package....in December?

We are a party of 13 and right now we are booked for the Fantasmic Dinner Package for 12/17 at Mama Melrose. I am tempted to drop those reservations and head out to Captain Grille for lunch instead and then still aim to be at Fantasmic an hour before the show. Would that work with a party of 13 on Dec 17 or is it too crowded and we should keep our Mama Melrose Dinner Package?

I think I would keep the fantasmic Package if you have young kids in your group. Also, is all 17 people wanting to stand around for over an hour to see Fantasmic.

I am wonderingabout the crowd level as well we have a package for the same day. I know when they used to have fantasmic nightly it wasn't bad to get in but how is it when its only 3-4 times a week? Last year it was jst 2 and we went 30 min early in august with no problem, but with a group it makes me wonder, we have 14
