Fantasmic Dinner Package CANT BOOK??!

Is there a reason why the computer isnt letting me book a Fantasmic Dinner Package for Aug 9th? We are checking in on Aug 7th so our 180 day mark was yesterday. I was able to make all our ressies yesterday but realized I want to book the Fantasmic Dinner Package too but wont let me even click on August for dates. ??

No, they upgraded the system, and you can now book F! package online.

That beng said, a lot of people seem to have problems doing so, so they end up calling an booking. A lot of times the date isn't in the system yet or it's just the website being annoying as it often does. OP I suggest calling and doing it, as it seems like you can even plug in any dates for July/August.

Call. I was within my 180 days and I went back for several days but the July calendar wasn't up yet (this was a month ago). I was able to get the day that we wanted because there were lots of F!'s planned for that week.

I need some information on Fantasmic, I don't get it. I thought it was a massive night show but then see a post about reserving for it. Do I have to in order to see it or is this something different I haven't learned yet?

Also, I read somewhere that they tend to do Fantasmic on Monday and Thursday at WDW in DHS. Is this true or is there a schedule posted? We are going in July.

Have you signed in with your confirmation number for your resort? There's a way to do that and then it should let you, but I can't remember how.

I couldn't do online booking for F! yesterday - and had to add my Reservation Number at the beginning of the process. Ended up having to call to get F!. Made all other ADR's with no difficulty at all.
(They said they fixed the system for F! - but it still doesn't work.)
Would definitely call ASAP.
I made my online ADR's at 6AM when the system went live. Called at exactly 7AM to book F! via phone and was not given the best time - tho it was still acceptable.

Just clicked on the link you provided for the F! pkg, Redwitch. Thanks for providing it.
I didn't realize there was a set menu for the pkg. Don't think my grandchildren will be happy with the choices. Are we prohibited from ordering off the menu (assuming we don't order something that doesn't cost more than the options listed)?

Its just the dinner package that you reserve, it's optional. The dinner package is offered at Mama Melrose, Hollywood & Vine and Brown Derby
and is available certain times on Fantasmic days. I believe there is a certain menu you order from too? Not sure though. Fantasmic days vary, depending on the time of year. Some times of the year it is held more frequently - July may be one of those times. Check the WDW for the scheduled times, it should be up by now I think. The perk to the package is that there is a special seating section for people who have the package, so you don't have to lineup quite as early to get a seat. You still need to get there about a half hour to 45 mins ahead of time to get a seat in the special section, but it beats lining up an hour and a half early to get a seat in the normal sections.

I asked this same question a few days ago...yes you can book the package on line it took me several days to figure out how and only with the help of another board member....read the post on how to mess with the dates to get to book F! online...here's the link to the thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2651830 how this helps
