Fantasmic Dinner Package Again

Hi Everyone, by the sounds of the replis to the last Fantasmic Post alot of people are not too happy about the new Fantasmic Package. We are going in August of 2006 and we have the Dining plann for the length of our stay. We always wanted to see the Fantasmic show so we made reservations for it. We chose Holly Wood & Vine because it had good reviews. I never used the old system but it's sounds like the resevrved seats you get are nothing spectacular. Is it better to just go to the show separately and forget the dinner show package?

I went once without the package in July and we were in the back, but we could still sit.
I went in Dec. with the package and it was nice to only have to be there 30 minutes before.
I went in April without the package and we had to stand the entire time.
I am now going to always book the package. It just isn't worth it to me to hope I find a seat. The food is fine. We ate at Mama Melrose, which is where I think we will always eat.

We actually just got back from disney and we had a great trip,except for our fantasmic dinner pacakge. We ate at Mama Melrose, the food was okay but i didnt think it was worth the money. But i figured i was paying for the best seats in the house at the show so i didnt mind.
Our server told us to take out "fast Pass " and go to oscars garages at by 8pm me, being the over planner we arrived at 7:30 and the line was already 50 deep. Then after showing the ticket we walk literally what feels like a mile up hill to the arena to find no one checking fast passes and the arena almost competly filled up we . We sat in the last section 8 th row from the top!
I was so angry i went to find a cast member who told me she was sorry but ther was nothing she could do.
So now that i am home i plan to write a letter !! I loved the show but would not recommend the dinner pakage!!
