How close to the reservation date do I have to cancel a reservation without getting charged on my credit card?

I have a party of 9 I'm trying to seat on 8/23 at MM but was only able to get 3 tables for 2 (6). I've been trying but unable to pick up seating for the other 3 people, and with the child to adult ratio I cannot split the group 6 and 3, so at some point if I can't pick up the extra adr for 3 I'll need to cancel one of my adr's for 2.

I want to keep trying to get the other 3 in at MM but don't want to end up paying a cancellation charge if I have to drop the one adr.

I believe it is 48 hours. Call Disney and double check, they will be able to tell you if 48 hours is correct. Good luck, I hope you are able to get the reservation you would like.

When I made my Fantasmic Dining Packlage last week for this Saturday on the Dining Reservations Phone number, they said 48 hours! After that it was a $10 charge per person.
