Do I have to call to make the reservation? or do I need to wake up at 6AM EST to get a reservation? I just looked at the last date available for reservations and they don't have any availability. Thanks

When are you going? I ask because getting reservations for DLR locations is usually pretty easy, even closer to the date. Sometimes the system is a little wonky when new days are added (the packages aren't always loaded into the system at the 60-day mark). Sometime guests have said they had better luck calling. The phone lines open somewhere between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. The online system rolls somewhere after midnight (but before 8:00 am Pacific Time), but it doesn't seem like it's always the same time.

We aren't going until the second week in August but my 60 day window opens up next week so I'm just trying to figure things out before then.

I just checked the online system for Blue Bayou F! Dining Packages for a party of 4 on the last few days that have been added. There are lots of time options starting with August 1st and working backwards, but nothing is coming up for August 2nd (the newest day). So it seems that they are still having issues with the packages on the latest day added to the calendar (not a new phenomenon). A lot of guests have reported not being able to make a package reservation right on the 60-day mark, but if they waited a few days, then it was added to the system and they were able to add it. DLR is not like WDW in terms of dining reservations, where all of the most popular locations and times book up right at the 60-day mark. In most cases, you can get prime dining ADRs with less than a few weeks to go (there are always exceptions, like Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, July 4th, etc.). So I think you can sleep in and make the online dining reservation later that day or even wait a few days so the system can sort itself out.

Thanks for the great info!

I easily made BB F! reservations for July 20th on May 21st and I waited until I got home from work. There were a lot of times to choose. The next day I made WOC reservations at Carthay Circle after work without any issues. That was my experience for what I expect to be a busy time.
