Due to the limited choices for the restaurants available with this package, as well as the reviews of each ( Hollywood and Vine, Mama Melrose and Brown Derby-2TS)- is it really worth using TS meals for one of the above for the preferred seating that you get for Fantasmic? Just curious because there are plenty of other restaurants that I would prefer to try other than using my dining credit for any of the one listed above.

Perferred seating in my opinion, the only advantage is for walking in and walking out, you don't have the large crowd of people to deal with, and you don't have to arrive an hour ahead of the start, but even coming in late for regular seating, I feel is better, because you set up high and can see better, and don''t have to wait for the crowd to move at show end to get out. As for the show it self, it is the same, you set on the same hard cold benches as everyone else, popcorn::

i just wish there were better restaurant choices for the package. While we are pretty plain eater ( myself and my daughter 17 ), I think I would enjoy trying a diffferent restaurant other than Mama Melrose. We love Italian and are doing Tony's a few days later with hopes of parade viewing with a late lunch ( do many Epcot meals to squeeze Italian in over there ). We are also going on the cruise after our 7 days at the world so, we will still have a chance to enjoy some great food. I have seem Fantasmic many times (but it's been a number a years now ) and my daughter doesnt remember all that much about it. Still weighing it out.

Tony's where? at the magic kingdom to watch the parade/
Good luck, you won't see anything setting at a table at tony's, too many people will be standing in your way.

If they can get on the patio at Tony's, it is elevated. The view might be slightly obstructed depending on how tall people are, but it's elevated enough where they should be able to see most things.

As for the F! dining package, we opted not to do it in September. We got to F! about 40 mins before the start time and as we were entering the theater, we heard the announcement that it was standing room only. Fortunately, we did not find the standing room section to be bad. We had a decent view and were able to make a quick exit. In fact, we might opt for the standing room section next time so we don't have to get there so early. If you're not interested in one of the F! dining package restaurants and you are going at a slower time, I might not do it.
