I want the Fantasmic Dining Package so badly for Nov 24th, but it is booked solid at all of the restaurants. This is a package that you need to reserve with a credit card (but you don't actually pay in advance). Do you think it is worth it to keep trying? I am so bummed!

I would keep trying, even up until you are there. It has to be canceled in advance to avoid the charge, and I'd guess a lot cancel right then.

good luck!

I have to tell you that one year we did the dinner package and one year we did not. And actually I liked it better without the package. Seats were just as good and did not have to eat super early. Seemed less stressful without the package. I think you are fine without the package. You can still see the show. But it can't hurt to keep trying if you really feel like you need it. The questions I guess really is...are you going during a super busy time?

well, the beginning of the trip is not a busy time (arriving nov 18th), however, we want the FDP on Nov 24th (monday before Thanksgiving) & crowds start to pick up then. I will keep trying & book something else in the meantime.

I would keep calling! I couldn't get a Fantasmic for the longest time - but eventually I got exactly what I wanted (Mama Melrose @5pm.) I noticed that when it gets to be about 45 days from when you want to book, the ADR tables open up. A Disney CM told me to try calling around that 45 day time frame. Many people have to pay for their Disney packages 45 days out and those that need to cancel will usually cancel their ADR's at that time also (especially those held with a credit card.) Also if your at all flexible try asking for 2 different days every time you call. Good Luck!

Great point about the 45 day mark!

i wouldnt bother either. you dont need it to enter fantasmic. plus if its busy youll need to get there early with or without the package because een with the package people will be lined up very early to get the best package seats, no one wants to sit up in the back. so if you cant get it just get there early and enter the standby entrance. the seats are just as good or better from that entrance anyway.
