Fantasmic dining on the MYW Dining Package

When we went in Feb of this year, during booking we were told the Fantasmic Diner package was not a part of the dining plan. Once we arrived in Orlando it seemed like it depended on who you asked....

I'm now planning a trip in Feb 06. I called and booked the package and asked about the fantasmic package, since it seems there have been some modifications to the dining package since I went (more restaurants, especially in EPCOT, have been added, some moved from signature to standard table service, etc). I was told that the Fantasmic dining package had just recently been added to the plan but it was considered a signature dining experince...thus requiring two table service credits...which I just can't pull myself to spend a table service credit to get into Fantasmic....

Is this truely the case, or if I make a PS / ADR at one of the participating restaurants, will the fantasmic dining be included?

Hmmm.... When my DH called last week to book our package for next summer he was told that it would cost 2 TS credits if we booked Hollywood Brown Derby for the Fantasmic Dinner Package but it costs 2 credits under normal circumstances to eat there anyway. He was told that if we book H&V for the Fantasmic Dinner Package it will be 1 TS credit per person. I'm not sure about Mama Melrose because he didn't ask about that one.

As soon as the change occured (about 1 1/2 weeks ago) I called and cancelled my regular ADR at Hollywood & Vine and made an Fantasmic ADR at Mama Melrose. The CM said Hollywood & Vine and Mama Melrose would be one TS, but if I had wanted Brown Derby it would have been two TS. My D-I-L has since decided they would rather eat at Hollywood and Vine, so yesterday I called back (not really expecting to get it on such short notice) and was shocked to be offered several times at Hollwood & Vine. I cancelled the ADR at Mama Melrose and the CM again mentioned that Hollywood & Vine and Mama Melrose were one TS, while Brown Derby was two.

She said she still had to have a credit card number in case we didn't show up, but she had put on the ADR that we had the free dining and the credit card would not be charged unless we didn't show up. They did the same thing for our CRT ADR, by the way.
