Fantasmic Dessert....

Sure it is. With 10000's of visitors in the park each day, a few 100 will be able to afford it.
No, way more than that CAN afford it, the difference is, is that what they want to spend their discretionary funding on? Blue Bayou is full every day. That is where many choose to spend their funds. I don't particularly care for this restaurant. Many love Napa, it is full nightly. Many stay on site, many choose multiple character meals, many take tours, and the list can go on. Just because someone doesn't choose to spend their funds on Fantasmic! doesn't mean they can't afford it, it means they choose to spend their funds elsewhere.

Also depends on the sort of holiday you are having.:confused3

We fly four over 14 hours from the other side of the world for a few weeks of fun..... no matter what it costs (within reason). Anything that is special and will "enhance" our experiences is worth it to us.:yay:

We save for years (literally) to make sure we can enjoy such experiences.

We may never be able to to it again in our lifetime so why not.

Well we do the budget version to get a good view. About 10 minutes before show time we find a family that spent 2 hours to get the perfect up front spot. We offer them $100 for their spot. So for $100 we get a perfect view, no 2 hour wait and save $200 over the reserved seats for the 5 of us. We don't get the snacks, chair and drinks though darn it!! lol

:lmao: Love this.....if you walked up and offered me $100 for my spot, I'd probably take it! LOL

Wow! For $300.00 we could add an extra night hotel stay and extend our tickets for one day...then we'd have time to camp out early for a spot! :lmao: Seriously, though, if paying for this service works for you, why not? The show is fantastic! There are all sorts of ways to spend your money at Disneyland. :)

I suppose thats true to an extent. Yes, most at DLR probably do have $60 they can spend without going broke. But the less they have, the more they weigh what they have to give up. I maintain, most cannot afford the $60pp for a reserved seat and view and snacks because they'd have to give up something else at Disney or at home that makes it not worthwhile and thus not affordable to them. $66pp is priced out of the realm of most visitors including myself.

Now I'm thinking of staking out a great spot for a few hours in hopes someone comes and offers me $$$ ;-)
