I looked on Disney's sit but there are no prices listed for the dessert/seating for Fantasmic..anyone know how much ...kids/adults?

Can you see the fireworks from there as well?
Thanks

I was trying to find out this info as well and didn't have too much luck. I googled it, and I found a site that said it was $65 per person and almost fell out of my chair. I hope that's not right, we really wanted to do this on our trip, but I'm not paying $260 for dessert....

It is $59 per person. And yes, if you do the first show of Fantasmic you can stay to watch the Fireworks and will ahve the piped in music, and will be able to see quite a bit of it.

...we wil pass on that. almost $300 for our crew..too rich for my blood.

Yea even though it is slightly cheaper than the price I found that still seems pretty exorbitant for a dessert. Must be some dessert! I guess we will just stake out a spot early with everyone else :D

If it is not summer and/or a holiday weekend you should be good to go. Last August on a Thursday people started at about 1630 and was pretty well packed by 1900 for the first show. Have fun, it is a great show.

We got FABULOUS spots for seeing Fantasmic (and I'll share how). We had already done the dessert seating, but wanted to see the show again and wanted a center front on view. The best spot to get this, IMO, is directly to the right or left of the post with the sign that says "Kodak Picture Spot". Be forewarned, if you are to the right there is a walkway there, so ask a CM and make sure you're not in the walkway they will later rope off because you will have to move. You have probably 6-7 feet between the post and the walkway.

We staked out a spot early in the day by parking our two strollers where we wanted to sit. Then after dinner, we went back and spread them out and put our coats on the ground (people already choosing spots for F! were sitting around the strollers, but didn't move them). We then rotated out, one person holding the spot, the others going on rides, and swapping as need be. Worked well. We did this on Monday (MLK Day) and it worked really well because the fireworks were at 8:45 and then F! Was a few minutes after. So waiting for F! seemed shorter because the fireworks were before, not after.

We had a better view of the show there than at the dessert seating. But, it did take time.

So, "technically" you are not paying $59 for dessert. You are paying for a reserved spot for Fantasmic! The dessert box, the beverages, and the service are complimentary.

Think of it as a theater ticket, with free food and drink.

..I look at it as paying for a C H A I R..at my age and creakiness level, well worth it..If I want to see the show without the chair, I stand by the pier to Tom Sawyers Island (uh..Pirate's Lair) and watch from there..different view, but still very cool, and no need to line up super early.

well my hubby just read this over my shoulder lastnight he said i think not. We will go watch it an spend money on our own snacks lol

Nunzia, I have to agree with you there. I do not do concrete or asphalt on the butt well any more.

thanks for sharing the tip...we will not be spending the extra money $300 is crazy. even if I think of it as theater tickets it is still crazy b/c then I am paying twice to see the same show. Would love to do it but if I am going to spend $300 I think i will head over to Napa Rose.

I normally wouldn't spend this kind of money for something we could do - in a different way - without extra cost. But because we're going during a holiday weekend, we decided to go for it. We're using it as a way to make the most of a trip during a very busy time. Less time devoted to staking out a spot, and less hassle trying to find a spot to see Fantasmic and the Fireworks seemed like it might be worth the one-time splurge. We'll be off using Fastpasses instead of waiting around for the show to start.

I think you lucked out with the unattended strollers. Last year it seems like alot of people are starting to do this and I saw 3 sets of strollers being towed away by the CM's. These can be considered the same as a unattended packback by security. Last year park security was heavier than what I have seen previously and I expect moreso this year. This does not include the official stroller parking areas since they a patrolled by the CM's.

Just an observation.
