Fantasmic dessert sampler??

Actually, he might block the view significantly IMO. We had a couple sit in front of us when we did the dessert seating (we were 2nd row, they were first), and one of the couple had a tall ear hat on. It would have blocked a lot of the view and there actually wasn't much wiggle room to see around. Right before the show began, her BF asked her to take it off and she did.

You don't have to sit together in the same row, though. You can sit one behind the other, sit DH behind you, or sit in the back row where you're allowed to stand if need be (i.e. for kids.) None optimal but all options.

Maybe it depends on the night. We have never done second row. Only first or third row. And in the third row the CMs told us to feel free to move around and/or even stand up during the show.

We're thinking of doing this during our trip in November. My dilemma is whether to get the first or third row seats. DH is 6'7" so sitting in the front row is going to block everyone behind him, but if we're in the back row DD5 may not be able to see very well. :confused3 Suggestions/opinions would be appreciated! Thanks

Just sit with DH behind you and DD if you're worried about it, you could get the 3 seats on the end if you wanted to, put DD in the first row, then you and then DH. Although I'm not sure you'd want to put DD in front of you or not. :)

I've done this once, it was me but I was with a group of other Divas, we had a group of 10 or 12 so we honestly took most of the seats. I was in the second row and had no issues seeing the show at all. I also had no problems holding my drink (I had tea, it was cold in February) and my dessert tray on my lap and the desserts were good! I had enough for the drive home the next day. lol We were also told we could get up and move around as long as we didn't block anyone else's view and the CM's were great about checking in with you if you looked like you needed anything, I'd love to do it again.

Thank you for the suggestion. Still not sure what we'll do but we've got a few more options now.

I did it with my 4 your old (just us 2) so I knew I wouldn't be waiting in line. Disney knew the party had a 4 year old when I made the reservation, and when I got there, they roped off a area on the stairway and we got out own private area. It was center, a little to the left, but still a great view, and it allowed her to move around a little while we waited for it to start.

The food was good for me, but she didn't care for much of any of it. it was all to complex for her, except the cheesecake. anything with odd flavors, like the truffles , she wouldn't eat. and it was a cold day in heck before she ate the cheese with all that sugar stuff there.

She only drank about half a cup of hot choco (wish they had milk), but I had a very good mean and watched it all. we stayed for the fireworks show after and could see tinkerbell easy.

That sounds promising! I'll have to speak to them when I book. :cool1: I know she won't eat many of the desserts so we're really only paying for the seats but hopefully it'll be worth it so we don't have to be squashed in the crowd!
