Fantasmic Dessert Buffet

It is still around...a bit more pricey than I remember. I am getting this for my wife for her birthday. You can try to time it to just stay in your seat to watch the fireworks over the castle after. I know I am looking forward to it! Hope you have fun whatever you choose to do!

Is that still around? I would love to book this.

Yes, they still do have this...

You can call and reserve Premium Viewing up to 30 days prior to your show. The seating is in a section by Cafe Orleans and French Markets. You would need to call 714-781-4400 to reserve... I don't remember how much but it's pricey...

Not really worth if you've seen the show before... However it is convent if you don't want to wait around for a good viewing point.

Thanks for the link!
I thought it was just a dessert box now?

That's correct.
Hmm. interesting.

Timing for the fireworks would be a great idea!

I've seen the show, but 5 of our party of 7 haven't. So It would be a blast!

Thanks everyone!!

Try doing a search on this site for the "dessert box". I know people have posted pictures of what they have received. It changes periodically.

The buffet has been gone for more than 3 years.

It is a reserved seat, a dessert box, refreshments, and service (people getting your dessert box, drinks, refills, etc....)

Holy cow it is still $59! A bit steep for not being on a fancy balcony.

Wow, Three years? Its been 5 since we have been there. That's probably the longest I've ever been away. We've been visiting WDW & San Diego Seaworld during that time.

That part unfortunately remains true...

BUT, you get a guaranteed seat IN A CHAIR WITH A VIEW, which is more than you can say for 98% of the people watching Fantasmic! I forget who says it around here, but they describe it as being the same as seeing a show anywhere else - you're paying for a theater ticket, and you just happen to get a free dessert and soft drinks. I think that's probably a good way to describe it. That said, it's pretty steep for me as well, which is why I've yet to do it!

Unless I go back to the old routine. Camp out a spot for 2 hours before show time. :rotfl:

I always hated that! wasting at least 2hrs of ride time for a show.
The dessert package might be the way to go.

Supply and demand. It seems to always be sold out far in advance. According to economic laws that would mean it is priced too low. FWIW.

Thx skiingfast for showing my old pictures of the F! dessert box.

If you go during the slow season like around now, you don't have to wait 2+ hours for a spot in the sitting area. I have done it last week on Friday and there were still some room around the ROA. Some people got a spot around one hour prior to the show.

But for people who don't want to wait, you also can do the Light Tower Trick which is another good way to save time. But you won't be able to sit during the show.

This Saturday, second show, there was very good standing spots even while the show was going on.

We'll be going during spring break time. For us Vegas folks that's mid April.
