Last July, we enjoyed the Fantasmic dessert buffet.....what a treat! But....I can't remember how we got the reservations....I know I got the info from these boards.......would someone tell me the phone number, email site, etc needed to make reservations for the Fantasmic dessert buffet. We want to celebrate our daughter's 11th birthday there.

Thanks so much!

I've never done it myself, but they usually have a window open between the exit to POC & the BB. Or call Disney Dining.

We did the "reserved seating" rather than the buffet. The reserved seating gave us a nice viewing spot and a spiffy boxed dessert. We were able to stay for the fireworks as well. I think I called Disney Dining and they transferred me to the correct number.

Call asap for your reservations for balcony seating, though, they sell out quickly.

Thanks for the tips..........do you happen to have the Disney Dining phone number? Appreciate the help!

I just called that number and asked a few questions. The girl I spoke with said that this year you will get a choice of dessert on the balcony, but no buffet. $47/person seems awful steep for dessert, a drink, and a good view of Fantasmic. For those who have done it, is it really worth the price?

Good question, Letsbgoofy...

unlike at WDW, where there are actually seats to watch fantasmic from, in Anaheim you get to fend for yourself. Think Main Street Parade... and all the antics that go on there as people push and shove for a nice viewing spot. (Particularly five minutes before the parade starts.) Only its worse.

Nearly everyone watching Fantasmic has to sit on the textured cement that makes up the walkways which do double duty as the fantasmic viewing area- and it is a bit uneven in places. Some lucky souls get to sit on the tops of the low brick walls. But for most of us, we are somewhere in a mass of tightly packed bodies... and once the show starts, we are standing on our feet trying to see between the heads to catch a glimpse of the show.

If you are unfortunate to be there on a particularly crowded night, bodies can be packed in tighter than a Tokyo subway train car. And if the evening is very hot its even more fun. On the bright side, if someone has a gas attack and there is no escape and no wind (pardon the pun) to move the offense away, the smoke from the fireworks will ease your suffering.

$47 per person for clean air, breathing room, a delicious desert, coffee and a comfy chair? Its a bargain!!!!

At the Electric Parade, you can "walk into" a relativly decent spot 15 minutes ahead of time.

This year, there were people camping out for the spots 3 hours ahead of time - three hours out there were only a few good spots left.

Yes it is worth it. It gives me back 3 hours of quality Disney time and a good fireworks seat as well!

I talked to the "ticket and reservation" person......and here is some more info on the Fantasmic reserved seating/dessert seating:

1) There are 21 balcony seats available, and tickets go on sale 30 days (not before) at 8:00am on the date you want. There are two shows per night.

2) There is additional seating (about 50 seats) in an area below the balcony. Same price.....boxed dessert.

3) Cost is $47 per ticket for either viewing area.

4) Is it worth it? I think so....we had the pleasure of sitting in the balcony last year. We did have a "buffet"...with multiple dessert choices...all miniature size so you felt "obligated" (!) to try more than one!

If the dessert menu has changed....that doesn't bother me one bit. Sitting in the balcony watching the Fantasmic show on my daughter's 11th birthday will still bring tears to my eyes and fill my heart with joy! I'd rather spend money on this.....than on a pricey dinner somewhere. And with the 9pm show.....you get to see the fireworks too.

Just love that Fantasmic show!!! And WDW does have a wonderful stadium that seats thousands to view Fantasmic.....guess we'll all just stay cozy in Disneyland.....don't see anyway around it for now!

Enjoy!

just read my reply....and it confused me!

The tickets go on sale 30 days before the date you want. That's the soonest you can purchase them...and they go fast....so chances are that if you don't purchase them at the "30 day mark" you won't get them.

Hope I cleared that up......think it's too late for me to be "thinking!"

The balcony seats will be gone early....but we got our lower reserved seats about 10 days out.

If you are on the Grand Plan-Concierge service,
will they do your itinerary planning, ressies, PS's for you
(like at WDW)?

Can they make ressies for Fantasmic Buffet?

Thanks to all, this is just the kind of feedback I was looking for. We were at DL last year and saw the people setting up their blankets for the show hours before time. We thought it was because it was July 4th, but it sounds like this is a regular event (how strange!!)

So, I guess I will spring for the balcony seats. Now I have to calculate what my 30 days out date would be.

Thanks again.

I was ok with the blankets ---I was disgusted with the folks who leave their blankets unattended. I was tempted to turn them into lost and found.

I am not an expert on this, but it is my understanding that 30 days means that if you want seating for August 8th, you call July 8th at 8:00 pacific time. If that is not correct, someone please tell me!
