Fantasmic dessert buffet - any sugar free?

Wife is trying to get me to make reservations for the Fantasmic dessert buffet for June 17th.

I'm diabetic and curious if there's anything sugar free available.

(I called last wednesday for our PS for the BB and was somehow connected to the PS for Fantasmic. I was told to call back another time as they were not taking PS for that Fantasmic yet. If I try again this Friday (5-13), is it likely to be too late?)

There have not been any sugar free choices anytime I've done the buffet. They may be able to make something special for you. I'd ask when you make your reservation. You can only call 30 days in advance for Fantasmic, but sometimes you'll get a CM who will book it a little earlier.

Both times we have done this they had cheese and crackers as well as fresh strawberries. Since my father in law is diabetic this was a welcome addition to the desserts! I love doing this and while it is totally expensive I would do it again in a minute!

Make sure you mention your diet restrictions when you make reservations and again when you pick up your tickets. My niece is allergic to artificial food coloring (try that one as a kid!). They brought in special desserts just for her (well, we all got to eat them, but it was not their usual choices that night...). In fact, when we checked in that night, they brought me out to inspect everything first, just to make sure it was all right!

When we did this in April (by the way, a wonderful way to view the show without staking out a spot hours ahead or worrying about the shorter people in you party being able to see) they had fruit, as well as cheese and crackers. Mostly, the buffet featured LOTS of high sugar, high fat, high calorie and therefore high taste desserts! We were able to book our tickets 30 days out. If the first showing is full, be sure to check for the second showing. The CM I spoke with originally said the seating was full until I specified second showing (we wanted to see the electric light parade first!)
