Fantasmic Dec 10

Is there something going at MGM Dec 10 - that I might want to avoid? Calendar has 2 showings of Fantasmic 7 and 8:30, something that doesn't anytime around then that I can see until Dec 24.......

MK is having 2 Spectro parades that night as well. I think it is just b/c it is a weekend and may have a teeny bit to do with coinciding with the last day of Pop Warner Week. I would guess by then all thier games would be concluded and they would be leaving on Sun, so Sat will be the last night at the parks for that group.

I found this out yesterday when I called to see if we could get a later dinner time. Since we have the pkge I was told we will be going to the first show. And I couldn't get a later time either.....

If you do see it that night, be sure to see the second showing

MGM shows closing at 8pm that day so I am going to see the 2nd showing too. It should be less crowded.

I am planning MGM for that day also. Will make sure I do the 2nd show. Will we be able to see Osbourne Lights after 2nd show, or should we see them before Fantasmic?

I'm also in the same situation.

We are doing the Fantasmic Package on Dec. 18th. Our ADR time at Hollywood & Vine is 4:30pm and there is two shows for Fantasmic 7pm and 8:30om. I read somewhere that if you have the Fantasmic Package you are to view the 7pm show. Ok let's see if I can explain this.

The reason for getting the Fantasmic Package (FP) is to avoid the wait for the show because it's very popluar. (usually one show per night) But as with the case of Dec. 18th (extra magic night) there is two shows. The crowd for the later show is not big enought to nececitate someone purchasing the FP.
But, if you wanted to half way guarantee yourself a seat, you would have to purchase the FP and see the earlier show. Put it another way. The wait time for someone to see the first show with Fantasmic Package, and the wait time for someone to eat on their own and see the later show, is about the same.
