Fantasmic "closure"?

I saw that somebody posted on another thread that Fantasmic will not be presented a few days the last week of August. But I have yet to read any confirmation of this anywhere else. I will be there the 25, 26,and 27 of August. Does anyone know more about this?

Hi...the information for the Mark Twain Riverboat...closed for refurbishment on August 25-27 can be found on the official Disney site...on the calendar for the Month of August...Fantasmic is not listed for those days...keep checking back on the Disney site... always subject to change...jc

acording to roumors fantasmic will be down sep and oct i dont think aug. Its for updateing projection screens

ITs disappointing that will be down but it also gave us some extra cash for playing...

It's not listed on the calander at Disneyland....so I would say you're probably out of luck. It is listed for the 24th though, maybe you could start your trip a day early?

Sad that I'm going to miss it durring our visit in Oct. But happy that now I have a reason to book another trip next year. I wonder how much difference the high definition projectors will make. It's not as if the water curtains are an ideal screen for the image anyways!
