Fantasmic Canceled 8/27 Why??

Wine had a River Belle Premium Package and at 6 pm’ish was told Fantasmic was canceled for the night and all that we asked were tight lipped as to why. Weather wasn’t bad. Just curious!

Did you have to do the dining and still pay? I think people who had other dining packages did not get refunds (at least that’s what the fine print on the website says for the dining packages).

Someone on social media said they were told it was staffing but who knows.

We didn’t do the dining and they asked if we wanted to cancel which we did.

Disney will never announce official reason so as others have said rumors are staffing.

Showtimes are back on Disneyland app today (they removed them midday yesterday) hopefully it will run tonight!!

With them pulling it that early, there is also a good possibility there was a mechanical issue that they knew would not be resolved in time.

Maybe related.. maybe not.. but there was a major glitch and malfunction before fireworks last night too.. but they were able to get on track.
