several months ago "I" looked into the fantasmic dessert buffet, but was told in march it was NOT on schedule... so I *pouted* ..
then last month I saw a post where someone mentioned the fantasmic running in march.......so I called & yeppers they had just put it back on schedule... OK, I asked,, "WHEN do I call for reservations"?? call back 30 days before,,, you are going march 4tH? call back that morning of feb 4th...
so weeks went by, and the night of feb 3rd,, actually I woke up at 3 am.. & realized in 'horror' that umm feb does NOT have 30 days, so the actual 30 days was 2 days ago!!!!
so for the next several hours I had nightmares of me calling reservations & asking IF they had any openings.. ( honest I did!)
& without hope, I called them at 8amPT was on hold for about 20 seconds ( you know it was NOT disney music? I thought I called the WRONG number!!) anyway I must of sounded like a pleading "wreck" when I asked do you PLEASE possibly have any reservations open for the fantasmic buffet 3/4?? she said sure,...... what time do you want?? I was astonished.. I said 9Pm do you have front row?? sure we do... was the reply... OHMIGAWD! I thought noone wanted these tix??? confused I asked her ( while she was putting in my order) uh,, how come there are STILL openings. I thought this went fast? she replied, they just went on sale...... I said um, how could THAT happen? 30 days from 3/4 was 2 days ago.. .. Nope, she said they don't do it that way,, they do it the exact date before...... <<now wait a minute,, I am NOW thinking,, that cannot be possible,, as what if you wanted a day of the 31st,,, & the previous month only has 30 days????>>
whatever!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am sooooooooooooo happy they did whatever they did that day!!!
I also asked, her,, um, I thought these tix go fast?? she replied ,, yup, while we were on the phone (maybe 4 minutes) all but 2 seats were sold!
ok, moral,, is: 1.CALL 5 weeks ahead of time, to see IF they are putting Fantasmic on the schedule (when they previously said they wouldn't). 2. ASK exactly when tix go on sale 3. call , anyway 30 days out from YOUR count on the calendar.. & then call each day after that, to make sure you get your tix!!!! <start calling at 7:58 & hit redial immediately when they say office is closed , & don't hang up when you finally get through!!!!>
now I only HOPE its worth it!
