Fantasmic any tips

Hi: Is there a night of the week that is less busy for the fantasmic show. We intend to eat at one of the restaurants that offer the voucher to get into the show. But not sure which night to pick.

Also is this show out in the open?

I cannot tell you which night is better. Yes it is in the open. If you use the vouchers there will reserved seating for you, so you do not have to worry about getting there to get a seat.

We did the Fantasmic dinner package last Sunday. Now the vouchers say to be there by 8:30. Now I told my DH ahead of time for us to still get there a bit earlier than that. Did he listen to me? NO So we got there for 8:25 and the stadium was packed. The CM at the top ushered us and about 30 other people to the bottom. Why I don't know because there were no seats. So a bunch of us stayed off to the side of the railing. At about 8:45 the CM says we cannot stand here because it is a fire lane. We told him that he was the one that sent us down here and there were no seats. He then turn around and walked down by the other CM and said that we should have been there either. Well of course since I heard that I went off on him. I told him that we had been here prior to our voucher and that he was the one that sent us down here 20 minutes ago and there were no seats. He said that we would have to come back to the 10:30 show. I told him that I did not spend $100 not to see the show I wanted. He asked if people could move down to make more room and some of the other people got seats and then he left. So there left standing still were me, DH and 2 DS's. Another couple moved down so there was room for 2 so my DS's sat on our laps. So my advice is even if you think you have a voucher to get in later still around 45 min. to an hour. I wish my DH would have listened to me, but his point was that the voucher said a half hour and he paid extra to have this service. He had a valid point too. Anyways the show was good and would do the Fantasmic Package again. By the way we ate at Mama Melrose and had the chicken parmesan. It was good and the salad was superb. I think I basically ate the whole bowl myself.

From my observations, I'd suggest NOT going on an evening EMH night.

We went after a rain shower one night, (June 20 or 21) and only arrived an hour before the start. We got seats in the center section, about half way up. I think most people had given up on the rain going away. The view was great. I would advise against sitting in the front rows. The water sprays into the audience. We could even feel it a little. We always enjoy this show. I even downloaded the Fantasmic theme song on my phone as a ringtone. I figured it was a cheap ($1.99) souvenir.

Matt and Jakes Mom: My hubby would say the same thing as your hubby, and I would be anxiety ridden about not being there on time. I think I will tell him we still need to be there one hour ahead.

Does this stadium hold a lot of people or is it a smaller show?

I think it holds 5000 people.

We are planning to go on Friday night, 9/30. That is the first night of MNSSHP so I thought maybe the crowds will be in MK. Does that sound like sound thinking or wishful thinking? We do not have FDP.

That's the day we plan to go and see it too! Were not doing the package, so we will be waiting in line with everyone else! I'm very excited to see as we missed it last December.
