So now that Spectromagic is gone (hopefully not forever), and it was DS13's favorite parade ( let me say it shocked us he loved it so much...it being so loud and overwhelming - but at the same time so thankful cuz we LOVE it)! We tried to get him to watch MSEP on Youtube but has no interest. He DOES however, watch Fantasmic on Youtube! With Spectro, we could actually get in to the MK, even when the parade already started, and watch from the entrance. As soon as it was over, we'd be able to avoid the crowds and leave causing little anxiety, etc.

Now we'd like to try Fantasmic (never having done it even without DS). There's no way he'd be able to sit and wait in order to get seats (obviously you need to arrive early). And DS doesn't do Restaurants either. Is there a section to sit if we used the GAP? TIA!

:goodvibesOur DD is 12. SHe has aspergers, and without the use of the GAC's we wouldn't survive Disney. YES we used the GAC to see Fantasmic, we sat in the back to avoid the crowds.. but it was still a longtime to sit before the show. We did bring her Nintendo DS and a book for her to read... BE aware the crowds are huge.... we wait til the show empties, then we walk out...

Oh my gosh! Thank you for sharing your experience!! I'm not sure he will be able to handle such a large crowd....and afterwards he will want to exit immediately. Not sure Fantasmic is in the cards for us... altho it is Disney we're talking about.....and he has surprised us many times during our trips! Something to consider I guess!! Tks!!

...life was so much easier when Spectro was playing. :sad2:
