Fantasmic! and Fireworks

Just a quick question. I am going the first weekend in Oct, and I am probably going to have to squeeze the fireworks and Fantasmic! into the one Saturday night, since they are both probably on weekends only.

What is the best way to see both? Is it best to find a good spot for fireworks then run over for a second showing of F! (assuming there is one)? Will it be hard to find a good spot to watch? Or is it better to see F! first and watch the fireworks from where F! is? By the look of the times of these, I assume the Fireworks start just as the first showing of F! is ending, am I right?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! :)

Just as a visual aid on what the fireworks look like from the F! area...this video was shot from nearish Haunted Mansion.

That's not too bad except for that one tree right in the middle.

Maybe it would be better to do fireworks first, then do the later F! show, if there is one?

Here is a picture of Magical in the sitting area right next to the ROA after the 1st show of F!

It is possible to see the fireworks from the ROA area, but we like to watch it from the hub. If you are going to watch the fireworks from the hub and head on over to the 2nd show of F!, I would position yourself when you watch the fireworks on the Frontierland side of the hub so you will be right next to the entrance when you go see F!. You also can be position right by the entrance of the Plaza Gardens Stage and go through the tunnel toward Rancho del Zocalo restaurant.

I like the idea of watching from the Hub! I will have to remember to stand on the side closest to ROA. How early do you normally go to the Hub area to watch? I would imagine it's a popular spot.

Almost always we watch the fireworks from the hub then follow the horde through frontierland, wait for the rope drop then follow the now faster moving horde to get a seat infront of RoA.

Oh yea, watching the fireworks from the hub up front is the best spot. :thumbsup2 But watching from Frontierland side can be bad too since there is a couple of trees around the Plaza Gardens Stage.

Picture of Magical fireworks on the left side of the hub right close to the entrance of the Plaza Gardens Stage. We were on the edge of the curb side so I have another 6 inches off the ground from the other guests that were in front of me.

You said that you are going the first weekend of October. I am also going on the first weekend of October too and I was planning on seeing RDCT and than the 2nd show of F!. For all my times I have been watching the fireworks from the hub and walk on over to 2nd show of F! (if running) and it is going to be on a Saturday, I would say if you want a good spot I seen people show up 2+ hours for the show and get a bench. If you want a curb side spot, guests show up at least 2+ hours and benches are at least 2-3 hours :scared1:. You can get a street view area 1 hour to the show, but with all the guests right next to you on the street feels uncomfortable for me.
