Fantasmic @ 7p or 8:30p

We will be going to HS Saturday February 23 tailend of President's week. Haven't been to Fantasmic in quite a few years. Which do you think will be more crowded the 7p or 8:30pm show?? Also what time is recommended to get in line to wait to get in? Going with a 4.5 year old and it's his first trip so don't want him to miss it.

The general rule-of-thumb is that the second Fantasmic is less crowded than the first. I would not get in line any later than 45-60 minutes before any Fantasmic to be assured a seat, but I would defer to others' opinions.

I agree with mesaboy. Seems like most people go for the first showtime. I'm not sure why though. But also I recommend being there 45-60 minutes early, unless the crowds are really low, then you might be able to afford 30-45 minutes early.

Last time I was there (Nov 2011), an announcement was made at 6:00 that the theatre was already full for the first performance (6:30).

We walked in 5 minutes before the 8:00 show and had no trouble getting good seats
