I have a question about Fantasmic and the dining package.

I have ADRs for Mama Melrose FDP on 12/10, but the latest I can get is 3:50. Apparently I can only use the vouchers at the 7pm show. There are 2 shows that night (7 and 8:30pm), and there are later seatings at MM, but not with package.

What would you do? Eat at 3:50 and have a reserved spot for Fantasmic at 7, or eat later and stand in line for second show at 8:30?

Thanks,
Wendy

Were are in the same situation for Dec. 18th. We have ADR for Hollywood and vine for 4:30pm and are going to the Fantasmic show at 7pm and not the 8:30pm show.

Now some people say that the later show is not as crowded as the first and your really don't need the priority seating the package provides.

However we are keeping our Fantasmic Package and attending the earlier show. It's starting to sound that this time of year is going to be quite busy. I would rather have the piece of mind knowing that I'm pretty much guaranteed a seat at the first show rather than take my chances for the second.

Hi~
We just returned from our Disney trip, and had ADR at Hollywood & Vine at 3:40 and passes to Fantasmic at 7:00. We were a little skeptical about the times, but it actually worked out pretty good. After dinner, we only had about an hour to kill, then we walked right up to the show. I think the benefit of making the dinner package is that you enter the show through a different entrance, so you are not standing on line. We entered near the Oscar's garage and those who didn't have passes entered through the main entrance. We had no lines at the 7:00 show, but we sat all the way to the right. I don't think there are any "bad" seats, but the ones in the center, which filled up first, are preferred. Enjoy!

On December 27, there will be three Fantasmic shows. Going to the early dinner package just took too much time out of my day. I opted for a 7 p.m. dinner and 10:00 p.m. show (no package) knowing that I will need to be in line a good hour before the show. I figure most of the families will have left the park by then. However, if I were you, since there are only two shows, I would be concerned about getting a seat also.

Good luck planning!

I would eat later and see second show on your own. Second showing is always less crowded

I am going on 12/10 to the first show with the dinner package and then we are hopping to MK to see Wishes and Spectro.
