I would make such an idiot out of myself if I saw George Clooney in person. I'd probably pee in my pants, drool, and then faint.
I bet George would remember you if you did! :rotfl2:

Back in 1998 when my wife and I were on our honeymoon, we stayed in a turret suite at the GF. One morning I went to the concierge floor for breakfast. I placed some items on a tray and wasn't paying any attention to the other people that were there.
I reached over for the coffee at the same time someone else did. I stopped and said go ahead, you first. He said thanks then I looked at him and it was WAYNE GRETZKY!!!
At that time one of his son's was sticking his fingers into the doughnuts because he wanted to see what was inside them. Janet yelled Wayne will you get your son! With that I left him alone and just said hi.

It was the same week as the grand opening for the AK. Alot of people were there. We also met Drew Carey and Stevie Wonder. My wife met Kathy Lee in the lobby of the GF.

We were waiting for Fantasmatic to start and a few rows over were roped off, wondered why? until it got darker and a party of 5 were escorted to sit there. It was John Stamos, his model wife (name I forget??) and a couple of kids & another adult. when we left dh actually spoke to him. Very handsome in person

My FI and I saw John Stamos after he split with his wife with a very pretty lady at V&As Since the room is so small We tried out best not to stare (We were debating forever if it really was him or not) and then someone called him mr. stamos... well we had out answer.

I have also seem hulk hogan, but in tampa he was with his grandsons or something.

LOL, too funny. Nice to know that celebrities' kids do that kind of stuff too. :rotfl:

Jack and Felicia Wagner- she was on a soap at the time and he was on Melrose Place at the time- they were there shooting "Weddings of a Lifetime" for the Lifetime Channel. VERY cool to see them with nooone around (early in the morning)

Hey, Xited!

The drummer for Aerosmith is Joey Kramer. I've met him several times around the Boston area over the years. (kinda tells ya how old I am!). Anyway, yeah, the poor guy, I think he was involved in a car fire with his Ferrari. I feel soooo very much at home (grew up in Needham) when I ride RRC!

Anyway, I was having dinner with my fiance at Jiko (Animal Kingdom Lodge) and I was told that the members of NSync were across the way, sans that Timberlake kid. I would not know them if I tripped over them, but the waitstaff told us who they were. Hee hee. Duh!

...because we're all huge 90210 fans.

I thought we were the only ones left!! My husband would still leave me for Jenny Garth...that's in our prenup! Just kidding!
We would've dropped bricks if ya know what I mean! :earboy2:

Several years ago we saw Mel Gibson in the lobby of the Grand Floridian.

Also, about 7 years ago we saw Ted Turner and Jane Fonda at the Sports Complex before a Braves spring training game. Jane stopped and spoke to my son (he was about 9 or 10 at the time) and told him how cute he was. While we are by no means among Janes's fans, I must say she was very nice to my little guy.

Then back in the early 80's I saw Leonard Nimoy at the Magic Kingdom.

I didn't get to meet him but whili I was in line at Space Mountain we saw Shaq "trying" to get on the ride. His legs were too long so he was not able to ride. There was a lot of people laughing about the incident until they realized who it was.

I saw Kerri Strug at the Virgin Megastore in DTD a year or so after her 1996 Olympic gold medal. (Remember, she was the little gymnast who vaulted on a broken? ankle or something)

She was super small (I should talk at 5'1''!) but I was amazed at how much muscle this little thing had! Her legs were ripped! I didn't approach her as she was shopping and I wouldn't have known what to say anyways!

I've never understood the fascination with celebrity.

Why people get all hot and bothered over meeting someone famous is completely beyond my comprehension.

There are obviously many people having fun with this thread.. why would you say something that could be taken as an insult by those who have enjoyed meeting a celebrity at WDW?

I saw and talked to Celine Dion at the Indy Speedway at the beginning of June...She was so pretty even with no makeup. Tiny gal too....

I'm just so amazed that everyone has seen so many celebrities! Honestly, I know I'm so engrossed with my own vacation that I don't even think to look around! Hahaha! :)

When I was in 5th grade, I was an extra in that old Hulk Hogan show "Thunder in Paradise." They were filming at the Grand Floridian beach.

Last month I met Kelly Ripa like 8 million times. I met Rob and Amber from Survivor and that Bobby Valentino singer guy.

One of our days in the Magic Kingdom we saw Joe Piscapo (sp?) with his [young] wife and young children. We kept crossing paths with him all day. Finally, my DH said, "Get a picture of him." From a distance, I raised the camera and zoomed in and just then he looked straight at me. I felt like such a dweeb! I lowered the camera and smiled at him without ever taking the picture. Hey, it's his vacation too!
Same trip, we saw the actor who played Greg Brady in MGM studios. He was with a crew and appeared to be working on some project.

lol... I see Joe Piscopo every Sunday because he belongs to my church. He is a pretty nice guy. :)

Me, too. I'm such a dork. I saw Jesse Jackson in Chicago this weekend and actually recognized him. Nice looking man.

Back in the late 1970's, my mother and I ran into Buddy Ebsen at the Contemporary. He was such a very polite gentlemen. I remember watching him and Fess Parker on TV (Davey Crockett).
