Famous People You have met While at WDW

I meet the singer from The Curse of her Flesh the last time I was there. Very Kool guy and that's a great metal band.

We didn't "meet" her but Ginnifer Goodwin was dining at Be Our Guest when we were there Saturday 8th Dec.

We met Travis Taylor from the History Channel's Rocket City Redneck show. He was visiting with his family. Got on the monorail with us from Magic Kingdom to Epcot. We ran into them several times that week, and each time he waved or said hello. Very nice person.

I live in Huntsville and have met all those guys a couple of times. Some friends of ours are really close with Rog. You are right though, very nice guy. Last time we talked for about 20-30 mins. I desperately asked them if I could be on the show. I told them they could use me as their test dummy. I dont think we have ever met any famous people. If we have I didnt realize it.

Many years ago, HS or MGM as it was then held a soap weekend. A woman came up to me and was chatting, she seemed nice enough and was kinda flirty with me. We chatted for a while outside Starring Rolls and I was trying to get away from her and get back to my family, but when I tried to leave she looked at me all strange like she really couldn't understand why I wanted to leave. I finally got away from her and rejoined my family only for some guy to come up to me all overwhelmed and say "oh my God, what was she like?" Apparently, she was some big star in Days of Our Lives, but being British I had no idea who she was!

When I was 4 yrs old my family went to WDW and stayed at the Contemporary. One morning during the breakfast buffet at the Contemporary we ran into film and TV star James Garner. I didn't know who he was, but I remember he sat at our table for a few minutes and talked with my family.

Only person we ever ran into was STACEY J. ASWAD (host of Disney on the TV) she was there filming additional footage for Disney at Test Track a couple years ago.
The kids were thrilled, they are the ones that recognized her. She was very nice.

We were there a long time ago (haha early 90's) when Planet Hollywood was opening. We got to see Arnold Schwarzenegger and family on It's a Small World.

On our big family Disney trip, back in May 2007, my DH, DBIL, huasband's cousin, and I went to Magic Kingdom for EMH one evening. After we rode POTC, the boys had to use the bathroom so I waited for them, just outside the restroom. There was a CM talking to some guy who was wearing all black with a hat pulled low over his eyes. He looked familiar, but I couldn't quite place him. A few minutes later, the family bathroom door opens and out walks Paris Hilton! The guy with the hat was her boyfriend, Benji Madden from Good Charlotte. The started to walk off with the CM and I literally ran into the boy's bathroom, yelling for my DH and other family members to "hurry, come quick, it's Paris Hilton!"

They came out and thank goodness we were able to catch up with them, otherwise I know the men wouldn't have believed me!

We also heard that Miley Cyrus was there during our visit as well, although we did not see her. CMs said she wasn't very friendly.

I walked within 3 feet of Mariah Carey at the Magic Kingdom last Friday 3/28/2014. I was walking from Barnstormer to Tomorrow Land via the back path and she was walking the opposite direction with her entourage. A Disney CM hurried up to me and told me to stop and wait for them to pass by. It was a little irritating actually, I was walking along minding my own business, I don't care anything about her. There were a few teenage girls in hot pursuit after she walked on.

Last December while in Animal Kingdom we walked up behind RJ from Swamp People. We recognized him right away by his hair braid and Native Pride hat. We approached him and he was actually very cordial and shook everyone's hand. You could tell he was trying to stay low key so as not to draw a crowd.

When I was in middle school my dad and I were standing in line for the original star tours and 98 degrees was in line in front of us. This was before they become huge hits. They were singing while waiting and with me being in choir and clueless to who they were at the time I started singing along with them. I wish we could have taken pictures of a video of this.

We saw the 2 girls from shake it up at Epcot in 2013. My daughter didn't watch the show so I was like "so what". We saw the guy from 3s company (can't remember his name) years ago at the Italian restaurant at boardwalk. I did meet Natasha Henstridge at San Diego wild animal park. I was chatting with her about how hot it was. I didn't even know. I'm terrible with faces!!!

My husband and I were on a trip September 2010 the first night of MNSSHP and we saw the kid from Wizards of Waverly Place who plays Mason the werewolf(Alex's boyfriend). He was taping for Disney 365 for the Disney Channel. We were even in one of the shots when we were trick-or-treating.

Back in the early 90's, we were next in line to get on Space Mountain. All of a sudden a few cast members got in front of us with their hands up and asked up to move back a few feet. Out from a side door came Michael Jackson, 2 body guards, and a couple of young boys (Macaulay Culkin might have been one of them). They all hopped on the coaster train we were supposed to be on. The whole queue line started screaming and taking pictures. Michael said something towards our direction that sounded like "sorry guys" and they took off. Later that day he must have been right around us on Pirates of the Caribbean, since there were 5 cast members stationed IN the ride (a couple standing on bridges, a few semi-hiding at emergency exits).

Most recently, about 2 month ago we saw Dale Earnhardt Jr hanging out at Epcot drinking beer. We didn't want to bother him, so I said a quick "Hey" as we walked by and he gave us a head nod. Good thing Budweiser isn't a sponsor of his any longer.

I made this thread 9 years ago that is just unbelievable...I was 15!!! I Love it!

PS: I'll be 26 next month celebrating in WDW...never grow up
