Famous People You have met While at WDW

Joey McIntyre from NKOTB???? That Joey McIntyre? Oh my Gosh...I would have just died. I loved him. And did someone say Corey Feldman? Goonies was one of my favorite movies growing up. If only my first love Corey Haim could have been ther too...

While I didn't actually get to "meet him" - you know, like talk to him or anything - I did see Johnny Depp while I was working at Splash one day.

Simply amazing, ladies. Simply amazing... :)

Long time ago (13 years) I was at Universal and saw the Beach Boys in the making of a video and there was John Stamos , really nice with people around giving autographs. I was a huge fan of Full House back then :goodvibes

last September we ran into Kolbe Bryant, his wife and 2 kids at Epcot. My older son is a huge fan of his- I thought he was going to well up in tears. His buddy guard wouldn't let the boys get too close. We have pictures, that was an awesome day!!

I was a CP back in '04 and saw several players from the Pistons. I also ran into Jason Giambi in MGM on my day off.
My roommate loaded Faith Hill, Tim Mcgraw and their kids onto Dumbo, and loaded Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz as well.

 :cloud9:  I would have loved to meet Corey Feldman...but to just see Johnny Depp!!!!! I would have gone  and then passed out from joy! I'm drooling just thinking about it....:rotfl:

Not a celebraity per se, but I was at DL a few weeks ago and met a man named Oscar who has been working for the park since opening day and knew Walt(from an employee perspective, I assume). If you go to DL in the next few weeks, he is retiring soon, so go find him at the Carnation Cafe on Main Street!

My niece met Kelly Ripa at WDW this past November while they were filming the Christmas parade. She sent me a photo and I did not recognize the unhealthily thin looking woman with big sunglasses in the picture with them! She is VERY thin. My niece said the same and that she was really sweet to her DD's.

Ya'll should be posting photos with these sightings!

I met Brett Favre a few weeks ago as I was working with Foulfellow and Gideon at Town Square in the Magic Kingdom. I was born and raised a packer fan, and that just about made my entire life.

This is kind of a Disney related although not in a Disney park. My DS3 loves Disney but is petrified of the characters. We live in Quincy, Ma which is just South of Boston and all of the Aerosmith guys live around here. On New Years Eve my father took my son to Best Buy and Steven Tyler happened to be in there, walked by and complimented my son on his new "Cars" jacket. My father did a double take, couldn't believe who it was and asked Steve for a picture. They did it quick because he didn't want to attract attention but my dad said everyone knew who he was plus it was dead in there anyway. Well, my son wanted nothing to do with him and hid his face. After it was over an employee said to my son " You just had your picture taken with a very famous person!" and Keegan replied "Yeah, Captain Jack Sparrow. Apparently Keegan believed Steve was Captain Jack and thats why he was afraid. When my dad looked back at the pictures he realized Steven is wearing a POTC hat and he has some braids in his hair. Check out the pics at my photobucket account:

Oh god, don't say that. My fiancee isn't a frothing at the mouth Packers fan, but I don't want to have to hear for the rest of my life about how he met Brett Favre. August is pre (or at least pre-pre) season for football, right? Please?

:rotfl:

I wasn't going to post this, but plenty of other people have posted about things that arn't even remotely Disney related... so I think this one counts :)

The really sad part of this whole thing is I don't remember this encounter at all. I know there's pictures in my folks' photo album from that trip somewhere though.

When I was five, we went and tagged along with my father to a convention in Anaheim. One of those days that week, we went to Knott's Berry Farm. Aparantly, we were sitting taking a break on a bench when an older gentleman comes up to me and starts up a conversation using Donald Duck's voice. Turns out it was Clarence "Ducky" Nash, the original voice of Donald Duck.

He died a few years later, and I remember noting it and being sad, so I must have had some memory of meeting him at that time. But now that I'm all old and stuff, no such luck :(

When I worked at the Crystal Palace we had Michael Jackson come into the restaurant between sittings. He ordered ALOT of fried chicken and was a little bit scary looking.

One of the "normal" people that was finishing up there lunch buffet was in the restroom when he went in and said he was dancing and humming while in there.

I had no interaction with him, but did see him walking around the empty restaurant several times.

when DH and I were there in FEb we saw Teddy Bruschi and his family at AK
we didnt bother them
we are huge pats fans to as we are from MA but that man has been thru enough the past couple years with his stroke
we also saw them at MK for the PPP

The wife & I ran into Robert Plant out side of the TOT in MGM while on our honeymoon in 2000. Since my wife is a HUGE Zeppelin fan, it really made for a magical moment.

My dh & my son would even have to gush if they met him. Usually they're so cool and reserved when we've met celebs...but ROBERT PLANT!!:yay: As you all can tell, I don't even need to SEE celebs to get excited, just hearing about it is fun for me. Silly, I know...

Last June we saw Jason Kidd and his family twice....once at EPCOT and once at MK. I was the one who recognized him first....not my bros who are HUGE NBA fans!!!! He was walking out of Living Seas the first time with a CM. Then as we were deciding to go on POTC and waiting out front, I noticed the CM who was with him at EPCOT waiting outside the queue. Sure enough, his kids and wife followed, then he did...carrying a big Vera Bradley bag! We have a close up of him walking out with that bag. Funny how just a couple months later he and his wife seperated and he accused her of beating up on him! Their kids were very cute, though.

About 5 years ago my DH and I were at the movies in DD. We valet parked our car because it was a Friday night and raining. While waiting for them to bring our car up, this guy with bright red hair came around the corner. My DH, not being teen suave, said look at that guy’s hair and laughed. As I turned around in shock, I said that is Joey Fatone from N-SYNC. My DD, 15yo at the time, was in love with the boy band N-SYNC and I had taken her to may concerts, so I knew who he was!! I went up to him and asked if I could get a picture for DD. He took our camera and gave it a friend in his party and said we could get a group picture with my DH & me. I told him DD would not like us in her picture. He said come on we can make her jealous and he puts his arm around me. My arm did not hesitate!!! :cloud9: It was around him in a second. We pretty much wasted the rest of the film; so, we could get it developed immediately. We bought a real nice Disney frame and put the picture and Joey's autograph in the frame. Wrapped it up and gave it to our DD for her souvenir. She was soooooooooooo upset she started crying; I knew I should have gone with you guys. For the next few times we went down from that day she would go to the spot in DD where we met him and wait and see if any celebrities come by!!

Just curious (because I just got tickets for them), has anyone ever seen a member of The Who at WDW? :)

We met Sela Ward ( when she was doing Once and Again ) a few years ago while dining at 50's Primetime cafe. She was super nice to visit with. When we left the restaurant she was leaving with her family at the same time. She came over and talked to my daughter who was in her late teens at the time for a good 15 minutes. I cannot say enough good things about her, it was a truly magical evening. :)
