Famous People You have met While at WDW

In april of 05. We were at preview of Lights, Motorcars, Action Stunts Show and just before the show started Mikey from American Chopper came in and was about 20 feet from us. He cut a promo for an up and comming show at the time and then sat and watched the show. Was pretty cool to see Mikey.

Well, we really didn't MEET this famous person, we just stood about 2 feet away from him. It was a couple of years ago, and my dmom and I were all standing in the fast pass line waiting for our turn at RnR at MGM. It was really busy that day and even the fast pass line was backed up out by the guitar! Everyone around us kept looking over at this guy and taking pictures and I looked over and who they were looking at and didn't think anything of it. The girl in front of me asked me if it was Aaron Carter, so I looked back at him and stared for a bit and realized it WAS him! He was with a few friends and a bodyguard. He then was let through the fastpass line and on the ride, so they closed it down from him and his friends to ride a few times in a row. Everyone around us saw it and the girl in front of me asked a CM what's going on and she just responded by saying that they were having "technical difficulties" and the ride will be shut down for a few minutes! After we finally got off the ride, my dsis and ddad said that their ride also had "technical difficulties" and when they got off the ride, they saw Aaron in the gift shop!

One of my sisters and I took our Mom to WDW this past December. On our last day there, we sat behind the rapper Ludacris and his family at the It's Tough To Be A Bug show. He seemed to enjoy the show. :)

Late March of this year, we sat next to Steve the bouncer (Jerry Springer Show), his wife, two kids and their parents at Chef Mickey's.

Hi everyone.
Back in 1985 at MK, my dad and I were waiting in line to go on Dumbo and Ron Howard and one of his children were in front of us. My dad struck up a conversation with him (I had no idea who he was at the time - I was only 2 :) ). My dad said that he was really nice and very humble.
Another time, I think it was our 1994 trip, my parents and I were in the Orlando airport and my dad claims he saw Bill Gates sitting near us. Both my mom and I had no idea at the time who he was talking about. We still have no idea if it was him.
Now, if I could meet Clay Aiken, Keith Urban and/or Nicholas Campbell (Da Vinci's Inquest star), life would be really good!

Don't know if this counts, But I saw Anson Williams at PHL airport on my way to disney.

If Steven Tyler or Joe Perry were to walk up to me and ask me a question, I guarantee that I would be too awestruck to say a word. I'd probably babble something incomprehensible.

If Joe Perry walked up to me, I'd have a Wayne and Garth moment...

:worship: I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!

Last fall we ran into Catherine Crier (CourtTV, Judge, author) in EPCOT. I normally don't approach, but we were standing next to her in line & I said hello & asked if it was her. She was very pleasant & after a brief exchange & introduction, we left her alone to enjoy her time.

I saw a soap opera actor in EPCOT, also, many years ago, but I didn't approach him. Funny, while passing through New Jersey several years before, we stopped at a diner & were also seated next to this same actor.

My cousin once took his family to MK with Lee Majors & his family & he said that the perks were great - brought in the back door on rides & shows - but people constantly mobbed him all day & night. Rough for his family.

hmm let's see there have been so many
mickey, minnie, chip n dale, some guy with a tail and sunglasses, the list goes on.

I've seen those same celebrities too! And no others. The one celebrity encounter I'd love to have is to meet, or at least see, Joe Rhode from the AK. I swear, if I was ever lucky enough to meet him, I'd probably be stammering and stuttering, looking like a total fool I'd be so excited.

This thread is cool :)

We saw Michael Jordon in the queue for Peter Pan with his family about 10 years ago, and John Kerry campaigning in the area in 2004 :)

Been lurking around for a few months and finally decided to register and make my first post. Back in my trip in 2004, I was at Damon's at The Crossroads sitting at the bar. I hear this guy with a British accent next to me. Turns out it's Andrew Dan-Jumbo from "While You Were Out". Even more bizarre than that, I had just seen him a week prior walking around in the office building I work in in Buffalo!

This didn't happen at WDW, but at Six Flags over GA this past Saturday. My son and I were in line for FreeFall. I look up and see this guy and think, "dang he looks familiar". I keep looking without trying to get caught starring and finally realize it's Evander Holyfield. I asked these two guys in front of me and they confirmed it.

We were at CRT dinner on Saturday, and Dan Zane who is performing at MGM this week was there with his family. I told him my kids liked his music, and he posed for a photo, though my kids didn't want to stand by him. His hair was a little wacky looking. I left him alone and a few minutes later he came back over and asked me where I was from, and we made small talk for a few minutes. I didn't realize until I got home that he used to be with a badn called the Del Fuegos, who were around in the mid to late 80's. The guy goes from rock n'roller to kid songs.

I would post the picture, but I don't seem to be able to do it on this board. Any help would be aprpeciated.

I spoke with someone on a bus last week who also confirmed that Kobe Bryant was in EPCOT with his family last week.

Although I did not get to speak with him I have seen ......... Johnny Depp!

Also about 10 years ago I was at Disneyland and my friends daughter was up for a Disney sitcom so they sent us to Disneyland and we had a special tour guide and we got to go up to the front of the lines on the rides. This was before fastpass and we felt like celebrities!!! LOL :Pinkbounc

I met Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgearld @ the ESPN Club @ the Boardwalk. He was awesome, even taking time to play some arcade games w/ me & stuff. really cool down to earth guy!

In October 1969 met Jimmi hendrix at Disneyland doing some filming walking down Main Street.

August 2000 at WDW we saw Ray Romano and his family in line for Splash Mt. No line cutting or special treatment, just waiting like everyone else.

Now that was nice to read. A lot of celebs can have a very stuck up attitude. It's nice to know that there are also a lot of them who are very down to earth and don't use their celebrity status as an advantage.

I haven't met any celebrities at Dis in the past, but I did wind up taking the same elevator as George Takei once (at a sci/fi convention at the college where my DH works).

I've seen Montel Williams 3 different times - once at Blizzard Beach and twice at MGM - on three different trips. He must be a big Disney fan. And I have met many soap stars during my 4 trips to Super Soap Weekend. One year when Vanessa Marcel was still on soaps she brought Brian Austin Green with her. He was nice.

I saw Montel Williams standing on the porch of Liberty Tree Tavern a few years ago...you're right must be a big Disney fan :)

Last trip, we met Hulk Hogan at the Dolphin Lounge. My grandsons got their pictures taken with him.

That reminds me of when Thunder in Paradise was on TV. Anyone remember that show? It was mostly shot in DW. Anyway, there was one episode where Hulk Hogan came over the World Showcase wall. On the left side, you could see one surprised kid at seeing him and started to mouth Hogan's name (I guess he didn't realize they were shooting an episode at that time). I assume Dis edited it because I didn't see the kid finish the word (lol)
