You totally win the PRIZE!!! That is awsome, what an unforgettable moment. I envy you!

Yes, it really was an incredible lifetime moment. Only at Disney pixiedust:

In May 2005 we saw lots! We sat next to Wayne Brady at Brown Derby, walked right past Vanilla Ice pushing a stroller in the Countries at Epcot, and sat RIGHT next to "Puddy" from Seinfeld in Japan at the Sushi bar (he is also at the beginning of Soarin' telling you instructions on the monitor. I think he was there for the 50th Birthday celebration). Also, we think we saw Gabrille Union because everyone was taking her picture and someone said that was who it was.
It was awesome! We were so worried about being there for the 50th celebration, but that made up for it! :teeth:

When I worked at AKL, we had the girl that placed third on American Idol (Kimberley Locke) stay; I took some packages to her room for her....we had Pink and Corey Hart in Conceirge for a few days. THAT was cool. Corey came up to me at the front desk and said that Alicia wanted to know if the Pepsi she ordered had come in...I checked, it did, and he asked me to deliver it to the room. I took it into the presidental suite for them, and Pink later came out to the lounge to get some food. It was kinda neat, I wasn't aware of who they were until a little later.

My friend worked at the Art of Disney when Michael Jackson came in, and he let him try on a watch in one of the cases. He came to find out a few days later that Michael left the store, with the watch still on, and never paid for it.

OK, Pink is dating CAREY Hart.. not COREY Hart :rotfl2: I was thinking wow.. Corey Hart is like 20 years older than her so I had to google it. :smooth: :cool1: :smokin:

Oh my gosh he is THE voice of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command! My DS4 is addicted to that show and that voice is very distinctive :teeth:

I just remembered this yesterday... The guy that used to be on Ally McBeal and was in the second Ghostbuster movie sat at our table in Epcot after the Ghostbuster movie came out. I think his name is Peter Mcnickel???

Hi! princess:

In 1993, while in Disneyworld, people started screaming crazily. We started looking around and saw the one and only Michael Jackson! He walked right next to us. The CM quickly rounded him up and took him to the underground passage. It was a truly memorable experience.

This isn't nearly as exciting as most of the others....but this past Thursday I was standing outside the Hyatt Grand Cypress waiting for a cab to DTD and I saw Ben Stein. He was walking out of the building to get into an enormous white limo. He looked vaguely familiar, then I heard one of the bell hops address him as Mr. Stein and then it clicked for me. I wish I could have heard him say "Bueller, Bueller?" :rotfl2:

OK...I am really addicted to this thread! I've only made it half way thru, tho. My 13yo dd has also been reading up on celeb sightings and made the comment that we've never seen anyone famous. I told her it's because we are always in our "zone"! Keep 'em comin'!

On our trip in January, my DH and DD rode Goofy's Barnstormer with Kelly Ripa, her DH Mark and 2 sons. Their DD was too scared to ride and stayed with Kelly's parents. Many people took pics of them but did not approach them. People yelled HI KELLY and she would wave. After going for 9 years, this was our first celebrity experience.

We saw Van Chancellor, coach of the Houston Comets, two years ago during Thanksgiving week with his grandson at MGM. That was a big deal for us, being from Houston. We just waved, said "Hi" and that we were from Katy and kept walkin'!

Well, I didn't actually meet him.......and we weren't still at WDW.......but (unbeknownst to me) I had a near encounter with Regis Philbin.

We make the annual sojourn to WDW the week after Turkey Day, which happens to be the week they film the Christmas Parade for showing on Christmas morning. Well, you know who usually hosts the parade.

So, on our last day we head to the airport. You know how it is....family of 5.....kids ages 1,3, and 6 at the time, all the baggage finally checked, finally schlepped to the gate area with all our carryons (oh, about a gazillion....well, it seemed like a gazillion but it was really more like 7), two car seats, a stroller to gate check.........we are a force to be reconned with. Alas, it is time to board and the firedrill ensues. My DW takes the kids and as many carryons as she can, which isn't nearly enough, while I navigate the stroller, loaded with 3 carryon pieces and the 2 car seats, down the jet way. After a brief wrestling match getting the stroller ready for gate check, I load myself up to head in the door and to my awaiting family. A carryon over each shoulder, one around my neck, and the 2 car seats held as high as I can hold them as I turn to precariously navigate my way through the First Class cabin to my assigned coach seat.

Can you see where this is going.........

Well, after I "pardon me, excuse me" my way down the aisle, barely keeping possession of my load of various paraphenalia, I eventually arrive at my awaiting family, only to hear from my DW........

"Do you know just hit Regis in the head with a car seat?"

Well, no, I didn't, but thanks for sharing.......and no, I don't really think I hit him.......but I bet it sure was close.

Oh, oh....almost forgot. We did see Mandy Moore a couple years ago taping a performance at the GF to be shown during the Christmas parade on Xmas morning. If you were watching real close I think I even made it on national TV, standing in the background by the piano in the GF lobby during her performance........

Can I just say that I am insanely jealous of all of you!? Most of you fared better than I ever would in front of a celeb! I have been to WDW three times and have not seen anyone famous, but I wonder if it's only because I wasn't paying attention? I'll have to keep my eyes open next week! My BF would probably die if he ever met a wrestler there...Mick Foley is one of our favorites! And Tom Cruise? Whoa...he may be a little "eccentric" but I'd fall over if I saw him! And meeting Steven Tyler.....wow...just wow! I'll keep my eyes peeled! :magnify:

I've already posted about my (and my family's) WDW celeb sightings, but I recently had my own at DL in April:

Well, technically this one's not mine...I went on Space Mountain with my FP and my parents and sister waited for me at Club Buzz. As I got off the ride, my cell phone kept ringing and I had no idea why...geez, I'm coming, you know? Give me a few minutes to get off the ride. Well, I get to my family, and they tell me I just missed Jamie Lee Curtis! Figures. My sister got a pretty good shot of her for the ole photo album. So we decided to get lunch, I got into a little tift with my dad about where to eat, and I decided to go to DCA by myself (I'm 25 and I've found in recent years that I always end up needing a bit of a brake from my parents at WDW).

Anyway, so off in a huff to DCA and Award Wieners I go (good hot dogs, btw). As I pass guest relations, I saw the normal GR CMs in their plaid costumes. Now my brother, a former CM, always told me to look carefully when I see those plaid vests, because there may be celebrities. Never actually worked before (at least I never saw anyone I recognized), but at this very moment, I finally saw a celeb at DL: Brad Garrett from Everybody Loves Raymond (well, not Everybody, as I never really like that show, but that's beside the point). I faked taking a picture of the Emporium to get a shot of him, and then I heard that deep voice...so amusing. I kept thinking "Dim don't wanna go" (BG was the voice of Dim in A Bug's Life).

So, ironically, after missing my big celeb encounter at DL, I had one of my very own (to make short story long). :teeth:

While working at Liberty Tree Tavern I met Michael Chicklin from "The Shield" well I didn't be surprised or anything but I am in his Summer 2004 vacation video doing my Speil- we also had Sen. John Edwards family eat (not a big fan)

Then in Disneyland last year we were there for the filming of the Regis and Kelly so we say: George Eads, Simon Cowell, BSB, Meg Ryan

There were probably a lot more but I don't remember them haha!
