My sister and niece will be coming to hang out with us on our resort day, will they be able to park in the resort lot, and hang at the pool with us? What info will they need to give the guards? Our name and room number? Also, if we pick up a car after we check in, what info should I have so I don’t get towed?

They will be able to visit you but generally pool use is for guests of that specific resort only so that may be an issue. Maybe plan a water park day if you want pool time together followed by dinner at WL.

Disney pools are restricted to registered guests of the hotel. Parking at hotels is for registered guests and those with ADRs. This is especially enforced at hotels near parks.

You’ll either have to try to add them to your room that day they want to meet and pay the extra person fees- as long as it doesn’t put you over room capacity-or do something else. They can pay to park at TTC and then take transport to MK and then transport to WL and hang sans pool. Meet at a water park has already been mentioned. Alternatively you could all go hang in Disney Springs for free.

The guard will let you in with a car and they are make a note or something so you don’t have to worry about towing if you’re a registered guest, after that visit the front desk and tell them which nights you will have the car parked and they will add parking charges for only those nights. Double check before check out though as that can turn into charges for every night and have to be recalculated again.

Resort parking is once again complimentary for guests staying at the resort so there will be no charge.

You can try to get them added as day guests if your room has capacity, this is different than being added to the room itself. basically they get plastic cards with their names written on it in sharpie, they will have access to the room/pool but not be considered resort guests for early entry/ILL/etc
