Family Vacation Picture dangers

Does anyone see any dangers to posting family vacation pictures in trip reports, etc.? I am doing a trip report right now and kind of got nervous about it.

I am very nervous about posting pictures of my family... it's all about your personal comfort level!

Anything you post online of a personal nature presents a risk. All those threads in the general discussion forum on income, number of children, where you went to college, and so on, if answered truthfully by someone, could give an interested party enough information in the aggregate to do nefarious things.

That said, you have to evaluate the risk for yourself. Some folks are comfortable posting lots of personal details online. Some border on paranoia and won't post any truthful information anywhere. Do whatever lets you sleep soundly at night.
