Looking for opinions for lodging for a 3-night trip. would be me and 4 young adults (my kids) ages 19-25. Wondering what options you have chosen that have been successful.
ideally would love a room/suite with 2-3 queens, or murphy beds. not thrilled about the pull-outs but would be open to trying if it was a queen. I've looked at the pop and all starts but even the suites would not be the space I am looking for. leaning towards OKW of beach/yacht/BWI or villas. The beach club makes me nervous because the bed configuration is not clear. any advice would be welcome.

With a party of 5 you’ll be guaranteed 2 queens and a daybed. Disneys hotel daybeds that I’ve seen are a bit different than the average pullout, it’s either a Murphy drop down or the back of the couch like flips down to become the bed but it’s like a twin ish size. The true old school pullout queen bed I had a boulder ridge villas was a nightmare, not sure it was any better than the floor. But, BRV is in refurb. Once you know what hotel you want you can ask on that specific resort thread here on DIS for specifics about the beds, they’ll know!

I would also consider 2 rooms at Swolphin. (Swan has queens, Dolphin doubles. Either way nobody has a sofa anything, you’d have 2 bathrooms, more space and access to boat to EP & DHS.)

I will check out Swolphon for prices. thanks for the tip. I have tried to look at bed configurations at most of the hotels but I am hoping people have feedback of successful stays they have had :)

With that configuration, I'd want something that gets you at least 2 bathrooms.
Does everyone need their own bed or are some people ok with bed sharing?

To clarify you need FIVE beds ~ no one is sharing?

And are you open to being offsite?

Last month we put ages 21-24 in the murphy/pullout beds in AoA. They managed, but did say the beds were not comfortable.

definitely ok with sharing, they are siblings but they are full grown men!! lol, and one daughter who will sleep with me.
Have you looked at AoA suites?
I have a feeling it will be just too small. unless I opt for 2 rooms at Pop which I can consider. But if Popx2 is over 600, maybe BWI has a suite for the same cost and deluxe after hours.

I am staying at Pop with my youngest end of the month so I will check out the Murphy beds!! They did not love the pull-out at Cabana Bay so that is why Im trying to see other options to try that won't break the bank.

depending on the size of your sons- I would lean to two rooms at Pop vs the couch fold down at the deluxe in a room that sleeps 5. I would want at least two bathrooms.

Now if you are considering staying off site you might look at Wyndham bonnet creek in a 3 bedroom. So much space, great pools, so close, and a full kitchen

The Murphy beds at Pop are real beds with good mattresses similar to the ones at SSR one bedrooms

agreed with WBC. Plus if you book from Vacation Upgrades - that’s the official rental arm for WBC, you can get the three bedroom for $225-300/night And not have to worry about it being canceled by Wyndham for commercial renting by owners.

No you would fit in a Deluxe CL room that sleeps 8, 2 QB and a QB sleeper that may be upgraded to a Murphy after the March upgrade but it is going to be much more than $600 per night.

You really should look at the Offsite option mentioned above or 2 Std Queen rooms at the Swan as @gottalovepluto suggested. . Or a Family plan at the Swan that has a 1 King connecting to a 2 QB room but again this is going to be more than $500 total per night with the best pricing.

We just did a 4-adult trip with two rooms at YC - it's request only, but the front desk CM was able to put us in 2, 2-queen rooms, both with daybeds. If it's in the budget, I would probably opt for 2 rooms at BC/YC and just make your bed preferences known. You could also see if there is a two-bedroom at BCV available - if you book with cash through WDTC (not DVC rental), you will get a dedicated two-bedroom - 1 king, 2 queens, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, kitchen.

As PP noted, I would also price out the Swan for two rooms which will most likely price out less than any WDW deluxe. We really enjoy the Swan and stay there when WDW deluxes aren't in the budget. With as many adults as you have in your party, I would definitely try to stay in the EP resort area.

yeah, you are probably right about the cost of BWI. Maybe it will be worth it to pay the extra cost to upgrade to CL BC or BWI and get the deluxe room with the murphy bed, that would be ideal and with 5 of us we will get our money's worth of club-level hoping the upgrades add a murphy bed.

Oh! this would be perfect!!!!! what room category? I didn't see a king with 2 queens at the swan

The recently renovated DVC rooms are all close to this -- BR, Poly, GF. (maybe BW/BC soon?)

They have a queen, a queen Murphy and a twin Murphy. Im an average size adult female and I slept on the twin Murphy fine, it's a little narrow, to be fair.

I thought the AoA queen Murphy was fine, but the DVC ones are going to be newer.

That would be perfect! hoping bwi and bc get renovated soon because we love staying at Epcot resorts!!
