Hi

I am planning my families 4th vacation to Disneyworld. There are a lot of us (12) and I am trying to do it budget friendly this year. In the past, I have always booked the rooms and packages myself through Disney. I recently heard of David's Vacation Rentals and it sounds like a dream. It would save me a LOTs, but I do not know anyone who has personally had any dealings with this type of venture, and I do not want to be blamed for messing up our vacation. Any feed back from users good and bad, who have used David's, would be GREATLY appreciated.

Yes, we used them on our last trip and it worked out great. It is a great way to save a little money if you really want to stay at a deluxe. But with he number of people you have, off property would save you even more. I have never stayed at these places but a lot of people on here (and some of my friends) swear by Bonnet Creek, Sheraton Vistana and a couple others. Try checking out the Off property board, a lot of good recommendations on there.

Yes! We used them last June and we were very pleased with them. We only got a studio for 4 people but it was perfect for our last two nights at Disney World. I highly recommend using them. We will be using them.in the future again!

We have never used them before because we are DVC members at AKV and VGF however our close friend just used Davids last month and was very pleased with the results.

The only thing he mentioned was the lack of availability and the more popular DVC properties such as VGF, BLT and the Boardwalk because most DVC members will book them 11 month advance (for home resorts) and 7 months in advance for other members.

Overall if you were going to rent point, we hear that Davids is the best game in town.

Good luck!

I've rented points through a private party, but before that I read up a lot on David's. I never came across a single negative thing! I would suggest trip insurance since your room will be non-refundable (and with that large of a group, anything could happen).
