Family room required

Can anyone help with information regarding Disney onsite hotels and medium sized family rooms.
We have always enjoyed sharing a room with our twin boys, at the All Stars resorts. However for next years visit, our boys will be nearly 17yrs. Any ideas for reasonable priced rooms,with a little more breathing space.
We would prefer onsite, but our budget is not plump enough for two rooms and feel we may need to look offsite.Thank you. Angela

You could try to rent "points" from DVC (disney vacation club) owners. Go to the DVC forum on dis boards, and post an interest in renting points, you will need the dates you would like to go etc. you could get into a much larger room-even 1 bedroom for much less than you would expect to pay. It is still on disney property, and you still can utilize the bus system and all other perks with staying in disney. Good luck.

But I thought that I remember hearing that one of the value resorts (not sure which one though) is going to have suites. Maybe you could look into those. Hopefully someone will come along and verify this with more information!

It's ASMu. I am looking into this too,but not sure if it would be cheaper to get the Family Suite or 2 rooms and rent 1 fridge-but lack the microwave.(of course use our coolers too).

Actually, a deluxe room at the Wilderness Lodge seems perfect for your family. It has a seperate sitting area with an additional TV and a pull out sleeper sofa. The price is very reasonable (much less than a suite at CSR, for example), and it is in a great location.

You could check the rates for a 2 bedroom in the Boardwalk villas. That would be big enough
