Family pictures at WalMart...

We've got 12 people in Florida on Saturday, Jan29...

8adults, 4 kids...and we'd like to have a family picture taken...having it done at the parks is not something that Nana wants to frame (tho we will have a pic done in front of the Castle)

However, the prices for WDW photography are a little..out of the budget

So my "middle of the night" brainwave, is to have a group photo taken at a WalMart type studio...which is more along the lines of what Nana wants to frame...LOL!

If you're still with me, any ideas on cost, whether it can even be done? We'd need the photos back before we left - obviously - or at least on some kind of digital format...

Any tips?

our mall has a "picture people" which does one hour portraits. maybe you can find their web site and see if they have a location near wdw. they often have coupons in the sunday paper, or maybe you can get on a mailing list on their website. not wal-mart prices, but might be better than wdw. don't think they'll sell you the pics on a disk, but not sure. can you buy pics on a disk at wal-mart?

Do you mind if I ask the name of the mall that you referred to? Is it in Florida?

I believe there is a Picture People in the West Oaks Mall which is in Ocoee, about 30 minutes from WDW. How about Sears or Penneys? Last time I was at both, you got to see the pics on the computer screen and then order. Since they are sent away to be printed, maybe they can send the actual pictures to a store near your home. Worth a phone call.
