Family Photo Ideas

I need some opinions !!! It is about time to take a new family photo. I am looking for some ideas on what we can do that is different and unique. We've done the white shirt denim jeans thing already. We want to take them outside. My DH and DS are into hunting but not me or my DD. DD and myself are into Disney (of course) but not the boys . The one common ground seems to be the outdoors. We have some livestock on a few acres. Anyone taken some interesting family photos they want to share???

There are lots of absolutely phenomenal areas around the park, or malls and greenery around the LA areas. I can send you some links. Where abouts are you located? I'm in the internet queen. I look up some great sites in your area.
I'm a part time photographer, so I can send you some ideas and suggest some options. How were you planning to get the photo taken? your own personal camera? If you are going to be paying someone to take them for you, there will for sure have some ideas for you.

We are going to Disney World in Orlando in June of 2011. We will take some photos there as a family but we were wanting to take one soon around where I live. We live in South Louisiana. I thought about us all in Camoflauge but that is a little too "cajun or hick" for us. We wanted something fun. My sister-in-law is like you, a part time photographer. There are some nice spots around where we live but I wanted some ideas of how we should dress. What have you seen outdoors in the past?

you could always do a variation of the jeans white shirt thing, jeans for the family connection , but let everyone wear their favorite color shirt, to also show individuality

You could do khaki pants with either white or colored tops. With colored tops, you could either go in the same or similar color, or pick a different color for each family member that coordinates. We did the coordinating but different colors (pink, sage, light blue & lavender) one spring, and last fall we went to the beach and we all wore khaki shorts & white shorts. You could also do black tops, but I like that in the fall better.

black or brown shirts and khaki shorts/pants/skirts is one of my favorite outdoor photo combos. You can also add a little white or cream in there too (ie, brown button down shirt or sweater with cream tank or tshirt underneath).
