We are buying DVC within the year because DH and I fell in love with the 2 bedrooms that we saw on the DVC tour. But we will most likely have one more non DVC trip for next Dec of 08. DD really really wants to stay at Poly and we agreed to it before some things in our life changed. We met and fell in love with 2 little girls (5 and 8) right before this last trip and we are going to try and adopt them. We start the process next week so there is a high chance that when we go back in 08 we will be a family of 6 instead of a family of 4. I also think Poly would be a great first trip for 2 young princesses princess:.

I am about to start booking so I am looking at my options. My question is if we want Poly is it possible for me to rent any just one room? I know like at BC the deluxe fits 6 .... if I am not mistaken. Does Poly have an option like this? Or will I have to have 2 rooms?

What are rooms like at the Polynesian?

Polynesian rooms are located in one of 11 different buildings called longhouses. Each one is either 2- or 3-stories high. All rooms are accessed through interior hallways.

A standard room at the Polynesian includes two queen-size beds, a day bed, an armoire, a table, and two chairs. Typical rooms are 409 square feet and have a maximum occupancy of five persons, plus one child under the age of 3. All rooms come equipped with an iron, ironing board, small refrigerator and a hair dryer.

Suites are located exclusively in the Tonga longhouse. They can accommodate between four and six people.

This is from all ears. Here's the link.

I would recommend getting two garden view rooms (connecting of course) close to the GCH. If you want a view of the MK, I recommend the Tahiti longhouse! :)

Thanks for the info guys. I called tonigh and priced it out. Think we are going to skip Poly once again unfortunately unless something as far as a discount comes up between now and then. We as of now are in a Deluxe room CL at BW and it was almost 4 K cheaper than Poly. Mk View 2 connecting with deluxe plan 11,391 and what we are booked at now was 7,324. Unfortunately I cannot justify spending that much more ... hopefully Disney will bless me with a pin code that we can upgrade lol.

Good Luck with your adoption. We adopted a little boy (Nik) 3 years ago. You will change those little girls lives for ever.
