We have had a wooden highchair in a studio at BWV and SSR and we didn't request it. Our family (us two adults and a 10 yo DD and 3 yo DD) have stayed in studios 2x. It is a little tight, but we combine a lot of things. PLus we had a pack n play set up the whole time (near the door) AND the stroller open (near the corner by the sliding doors).
-We stored suitcases and duffel bags inside of each other and then in the closet and if one didn't fit we put it beside the entertainment ctr. If they don't fit inside each other, then I put them wherever someone won't really walk (i.e. in the corner, between the phone s tand and the couch, under the bathroom sink (if possible) or somewhere near the entryway.
-I put my clothes & DD (3) clothes in the same drawer, DD 10 gets a drawer and DH gets a drawer. We hang anything else.
-ANy food items, breakfast stuff goes in the sink area and underneath.
- The over the door plastic shoe holder(as somone else mentioned) is a great idea. It's like $5 at Wal MArt and holds hair stuff, diapers or pull ups, socks, makeup, medicines (put them up high though), jewelry, snacks, you name it!
I pack ALOT too! What takes up the most room? All the bags from all the shopping I do! I even combine them and it still takes up a lot of room.
