So many fantastic pixie dust moments this trip, many of which we would never have experienced without our Disboard research. The weather was truly perfect. Perfect strangers kept remarking on it to each other - felt like paradise.

So many fantastic pixie dust moments this trip, many of which we would never have experienced without our Disboard research. The weather was truly perfect. Perfect strangers kept remarking on it to each other - felt like paradise.
- Cast members were incredibly nice! My daughter's favorite moment of the entire trip was visiting with an off-duty college program cast member originally from our area.
- We were the Magical Moments family who opened Fantasmic - so great! Not only that, but a manager personally walked me back to the front of the Rock N Roller Coaster line, which I'd left to do the Fantasmic opening. Made us feel like rock stars.
- Birthday celebration dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern - such a lovely experience with really yummy food!
- Pinocchio's Village Haus upstairs veranda was the perfect place to chill and regroup at lunchtime.
- Thank you to the cast member who intuited that a tall 13-year-old girl isn't too old to be dusted with Pixie Dust. My DD was thrilled!
- BOG Breakfast was probably worth it, but for me, only because of the pre-Rope Drop time. Seeing my DD frolic and dance in the empty Main Street was truly priceless.
- Watching Wishes from the ferry and boat dock was truly magical. That will be our new ritual.
Mixed Feelings
- FP+ worked great for us. I definitely believe I spent more time trying to schedule the bloody things than we saved standing in line (especially as our MK days wound up being 2 and 3 crowd levels, respectively.) But honestly, would I rather waste time at home scheduling FP+ or waste vacation time standing in line?
- The lack of spontaneity was kind of a bummer. On Weds, my DD and I both felt really crummy. But due to our BOG breakfast ADR and aforementioned FP+, we had to power through all day feeling crummy. Still had a great time, but I would much rather have been able to swap days on the fly.
- Just so very expensive. We came in a bit under budget, and we have studied for years for the cheapest ways to do things. But man, prices have increased dramatically since our last trip two years ago!
