family member tickets not showing up?

Hey,

We are less than 60 days out. I'm trying to book our FP+ and my wife is showing up as not eligible. If I remove her, I am able to make FP+ selections for myself. It appears that she is not linked to a ticket, although I booked a package for 2 people. It is all on my MDX account. On my page, it shows tickets. But when I switch to her page, it only shows the hotel reservation and not the tickets.


I tried to search but couldn't find this, im sorry if it has already been answered.

From the FP FAQ:

For onsite guests with a room/ticket package, the 60-day prebooking window will not appear until the 60-day mark. Before this point, it is normal for various members and/or their tickets to not appear on the MDX account. The entire traveling party and their tickets will appear at the 60-day mark in almost all cases. It is generally not possible to practice booking FPs beforehand in this situation.

I am within the 60 day mark. If I remove my wife, I can book the FP+ for myself.

Your wife has her own MDE account? Does the name on her account match the name you listed on the onsite reservation?

Her account must be fully linked to yours. That's the only way the package with tickets can be linked to her.

she does not have an account. she is simply an added family member on my own account. On previous trips (2013, 2015) there were no issues with booking FP+ in advance (2013 was still FP+ testing though).

Does her name on your MDE account match exactly to her name on your room reservation?

If so, you'll need to call Disney to get it straightened out.

on the reservation itself, it just has her first and last name, but her profile page on my MDE (where it does list the hotel resv) it has a middle initial . hopefully they can help straighten it out i guess.

i just wanted to say thanks to hiroMYhero, you made me really look deeper into it and i was able to figure it out with your direction.
apparently after the 2015 trip, i invited my wife to be able to share the memorymaker photos we got, and by doing that, she created a MDE (MDX?) account and I didn't realize that. I went into the account just now and removed her middle initial to make the names match, and now it works! Thanks hiroMYhero!!!

I had this problem with my dd except the issue was that she didn't have a prefix (Miss in her case) in MDX - apparently at some point between trips it got deleted! I couldn't even add her as a guest to our resort reservation.
Just adding the info for someone who may be reading in the future to check this in addition to the spelling and middle initial. Glad the op had quick success as it took me 3 calls to get it fixed.
