I am thinking about trying a tour with my family this trip. Has anyone tried the Family Magic Tour and what did you think about it? They describe it as a type of scavenger hunt but do not give a lot of information. Any info would be appreciated.

I agree with previous posters' comments about the weather and the number of MK days you have. We went last month and it was maybe 90 degrees on the day we went. In the early morning it wasn't too bad, and we were okay for the first hour or so of the tour. They provided "free" (i.e., included in the cost of the tour) bottles of water to the families going on the tour when we arrived to check in at the Town Square Theater. After the first hour, my DH and I were both ready for it to be over. Our DD (age 6) LOVED it, though. And two days later, we ran into our tour guide (Mary Elizabeth) in MK while we were playing SoTMK. She remembered my DD's name and said hello, commenting that my DD sure was good at helping out around the kingdom.![]()
Did you meet Peter? Seems like everyone meets him but just double checking...he's my daughter's favorite and last year the meet n greet line closed 10 minutes before scheduled meet n greet every time...and it was like a bazilllion degrees as it was the middle of July and she just couldn't pull that off. We've signed up for the tour this trip in the hopes of meeting him.
We did - and I forgot to bring DD's autograph book! She was pretty disappointed but seemed to forget all about it once she had her turn to meet Peter and get some photos with him. Our tour guide volunteered to take pictures with our phones/camera since there is no Photopass photographer on hand. After that, our group got to ride Under the Sea, and there was another character M&G at the end of the tour.
