has anyone done this recenty? would a six yo ds enjoy this?Is it very crowded?

We had alot of fun, my kids were kind of young (3 &18mos), however my nephew who was 7 had a ball. They only take groups of about 12-14 out, so it isn't very "crowded" It's a scavenger hunt tour through the MK.The end of the tour is the best - I could tell you but I don't know if you want me to give it away?

The Family Magic Tour was the absolute highlight of our August trip. The group is small and the tour guide is fantastic. She got all the kids (and some of the adults) involved. My son, 7, and two daughters, 5 and 2 had a wonderful time.

It was raining on our tour day, and we got free Mickey Ponchos! Of course you pay for the tour, but i thought it was a nice gesture. The tour included interesting stops and our guide told us some things that I didn't know about the castle. For example, there is a fountain of Cinderella and if you look at it a certain way she has a crown on her head. We also had a stop at the Wishing Well, which I had never seen before, and we all put pennies in and made a wish. I felt like a kid again.

I won't spoil the ending either, but it's pure Disney Magic. You won't regret it. I tell everyone about it. if you'd like to know what happens at the end, I'll let you know.

Hope my review helps.

thanks so much for your reply's! can anyone reccomend the best time to do it? my son loves captain hook& peter pan.

When we went this past August, there was only one time offered. I think it was 10:30 and it was only the Captain Hook one. When you call to make your reservations, they should be able to tell you.

Have a great time!

We did this in Oct. with DS 6 and DD 4. Had a blast but I must say that it'll be much more fun for the kids if the parents get into it and aren't afraid to be a little silly. Another boy in our group was 6 and his parents seemed, IMHO, kind of snooty and "too cool" to act silly. Well guess what, the kid was then too embarassed to do any of the fun stuff which seemed sad to me since the other kids were having so much fun. I don't think that the ending is guaranteed so I wouldn't make any promises to your kids about how it'll turn out - just let them be surprised. I think we had 11-12 people in our group. Have fun!
