I have not heard of that tour. Maybe, do you mean the Family Magic Tour or Keys to the Kingdom Tour?
I have done the Family Magic Tour. It was fun, but geared toward younger kids (10 and younger). The adults kind of followed-along at a distance while the kids spent more time with the tour guide.
Our tour in February on President's Day weekend included only two families with a total of three kids and six adults. The kids enjoyed it. It is pretty simple (the kids solve clues and get to find little things along the way). We got a private meeting with a character (Peter Pan) and got to go through the fastplass line to meet Mickey. We also got a paper fastpass good for any one of a variety of rides (not ANY ride/attraction, but a specific list). It was fun to do once since our kids were 8 and 7. I thought they were a good age for it.
