Any ideas what to get as a gift for a family with 2 teens (DD and DS)? Whatever it is has to be sent a long distance so shipping costs will be an issue (so not-too-heavy is better)!

I have 2 teens, a boy and a girl, and I would love a gift card to a local resturant or movie theater. Its expensive to take kids out and it would be a welcome treat. My kids are 19 and 14 and there are very few things at this point that you could get us as a family that would be easy to ship that we could use.

How old are they and whatever you buy, buy online from Amazon or wherever to utilize free shipping. Most places online will have a gift wrap option too.

What are you looking to spend? I think "movie passes" is a great idea.

Do they have a Wii? Maybe some type of family game?

Also, if you spend $25 on products sold by Amazon (that state they qualify for free shipping), you could go that route as well..:goodvibes

What about a Netflix gift certificate?

You didn't mention a price range.... but how about a nice game. I saw a thread a few days ago about popular fun games. Or maybe a classic like Tripoli or one of the monopoly games?
