These are really awesome! So glad I found this thread! I vaguely remember seeing the idea in the Family Fun magazine a while back, or maybe also on these boards another year we were doing shirts. Now we're planning our 3rd extended family trip and I was on again looking for good ideas for matching family shirts. This might do the trick!
We're using "safety green" colored shirts from Michael's - almost a neon or glow in the dark kind of yellow. I'm presuming the only 2 differences with not using white shirts would be that the swirls will be the shirt color (not white) and the spray on colors may be altered a bit by the shirt color, correct?
Has everyone done this in the sun? We are now into fall, then winter in the midwest, and we don't have any hot sun days left before our March trip!! I saw one person post that they took ~15 hours to dry on her kitchen table. Just wondering what I have to expect for glue drying and paint drying times indoors?
