Most of you probably don't understand why Michael Jackson would show up on our doorstep. Here is what happened. Our friends moved to Indiana in 2008. We went out there last summer to visit and to sit down and talk about this trip to Disney. After a fun filled day at the Indianapolis Zoo we went back to the our friends house......

After dinner, the kids played outside for a while while we cleaned up. It must of been at least 9:30 by the time we got them to bed and it was still light out!! Then the adults had time to unwind and relax! While it was so hot during the day, after the sun went down it got cold quick!

Branda found a Michael Jackson figurine that was hers when she was younger! Well MJ ended up hanging out with us every night! Here is is hanging out on my computer case!

Hummmmmm I wonder where MJ will turn up tomorrow?????

THE NEXT DAY....

It was getting late so we headed back to the house to get the kids ready for bed..... Then it was time for the adults to hang!!! A couple that lives 3 houses down from Dave & Branda stopped over for a while. It was nice to meet people that they are friends with out there.

We spent the last two nights out here so we decided that we needed a change of scenery. We went inside and were met by MJ having his own beverage.

MJ wanted to hang out with us again so he hopped on Branda.

We headed to the basement and started mixing up the drinks. Once downstairs, MJ moonwalked over to the plug-in fireplace. He is such a celebrity, we had to snap a few pics with him.

The girls wanted to play a game and somehow Monopoly was brought out!

I knew this was a bad idea. When I start playing a game I want to play till the game is over. Well with all the consumption going on, I knew this wasn't going to last long. The girls were chatting and not paying attention. Then some how Britney 'Branda' Spears showed up.

Of course there were more drinks being made.....

The Monopoly game came to an end... because Dave and I couldn't take it anymore. LOLOL. That's when the trouble started. We had no other outlet to curb our enthusiasm (drunkness) that Dave and I started wrestling.

Branda wanted some too!

Then, with my back turned, Branda tackled me and everyone jumped on me.

After we pealed ourselves off the floor, thats when the pillows started flying. Branda hit my head with a pillow and her hand must of hit my head as well. The next day she couldn't even move her pinky.... it was swollen and black & blue. We all calmed down and kept the party moving...

The girls went to bed around 1:30 and Dave and I stayed up till 3:45.... I got to sleep in a bit.. He had to be out of the house for work at 9:30!!!! Poor him!!!!!But hey... we were only going to be there for 2 more days.. so we had to live it up!!!!

So MJ hung out with us the while we were in Indiana. Dave & Branda came back to CT for Christmas and we had a party here at our house for Dave and our friends. MJ took the trip from Indiana.

You know.... I forgot to tell you guys something.... When our friends were here in CT over Christmas we hosted Dave's birthday party at our house. Branda brought MJ over to our house and he mysteriously vanished. She didn't realize he was gone till they got back home and unpacked. About a week later, Dave & Branda received an email from MJ's captor.... it was a ransom note. So one of our friends has MJ and is holding him at ransom... hopefully the whole situation can be sorted out before our trip. I need MJ to join us on this trip!

THE RANSOM NOTE...

Dave forwarded me the first email and this is what it said....

It says: We are in possession of your precious MJ. We don't want to hurt him but we will if you don't meet our demands. Ignore this and MJ will pay dearly.

So MJ was being held ransom for a few months before our trip.

When Dave opened the package we saw MJ and another note.

The note basically said that MJ was crying for 3 months and the captor couldn't take it anymore. We got MJ unbound and he proceeded to join us for a drink.

That is the story of MJ. WHEW!

Dave & I must of been up hanging out for a while because I posted this on my PTR at 12:40am right before I went to bed.

We've had great weather so far. The crowds are unbelievable. I never expected to see it this busy.... have any of you seen 30 minute waits for Small World before? I guess you would if you have been during the summer or during school breaks. We waited 15 minutes with a 20 minute posted time. What did you say... you don't believe me? I am probably exaggerating?

We are going to AK tomorrow and are going to Chef Mickey's at night. The kids are getting run down and we are going to let them sleep as long as they want tomorrow. We will just head to AK once they are up. Hopefully Juliana isn't awake at 6:30.

I don't know what happened but after we took group pictures with Piglet, Alex just ran over to him (or is it her.. does anyone know?) and gave Piglet a huge hug!!! This was the first time this trip that Alex was 'alone' with a character!

Evan was like this too. All of a sudden it was like a light switch flipped and he liked characters all of a sudden! He started with Ariel and Jasmine, but I don't know why?

She's asked a few times since we've been home what my friend's name was. I tell her "Tim" and she responds "Oh yeah, Timmy!"

Your fireworks pictures turned out really great. I think the one where the castle is multi-colored is my favorite. I know just what you mean about the first time you see the fireworks with your family. My son was almost two and I can remember standing there in awe of his reaction, tears in my eyes, and laughing as he would clap those baby hands and say "Pwetty!!!!" My husband has it on video and I cry to this day watching it!

That story about MJ is SO hilarious. Love the drunken pictures! You guys are such a riot! Glad MJ has been returned - this oughta make things even more interesting...I hope he gets to ride ToT (Thriller, Thriller!!! )
