Family Discounts

Is there any way to get a family member traveling to WDW a discount on DVC accomodations using my membership? My BIL/SIL are going down to SSR over Spring break and are currently going to pay full price for their 6 night stay in a 1-bedroom. I just thought that possibly my 25% member discount may work for them, but I didn't know if that was allowed and if so, how to go about doing it since she already has the reservations.

The DVC member needs to be present and staying in the room. Might suggest next time they should look on the rental board and rent points.

The 25% discount is SUPPOSED to be for the member only, but I know people who have reserved a room in the name of a relative and received the discount. In one particular case, the member wasn't even present on the trip. Probably depends on who you speak with at Member Services.

Still, the discount is only offered when all of DVC's block of rooms are not reserved by members on points. That probably doesn't happen often during the spring break period.
